18 hours ago18 hr Member I don’t see how you guys think Vanessa is playing Joey. She got pathetically drunk and wimpy at Winterfest just because Joey wouldn’t claim her.I have seen nothing in her behavior that doesn’t suggest she’s madly in love with this man to the point she doesn’t care that everyone sees them. The respected realtor went from married to a doctor to publicly being with the known town Mobster. I find the coupling gross not to mention we don’t seem to be getting anywhere close to her finding out he killed Doug. Which honestly at this point with her behavior I don’t even think she’ll care.

Nothing in these scripts says anything of the kind. As I've said repeatedly, if that's what they end up doing, this is HORRIBLE writing to get there.

If she’s so hell bent on taking him down why was she a slobbery drunken mess when he wasn’t even around to see it.
18 hours ago18 hr Member I was wondering if Vanessa was playing Joey when Donnell was in town. But I don't think that is no longer the case from what has been shown. It feels like the character has been made weaker.
17 hours ago17 hr Member Yeah, Vanessa clearly has it bad for Joey. And if her recent comments were anything to go by, she never even loved the guy, and possibly hasn't been in love with him for a very long time, and that's assuming that she was ever in love with him to begin with. 17 hours ago17 hr Member The setup is most likely for Vanessa to end up in deep with Joey and then find out the truth. In regards to Doug her whole need for excitement was sort of mentioned at one point when it was referenced that she used to sneak him behind the gates when he was still in the hood. After the novelty of messing around with Black guy from the hood wore off so did "being in love" with Doug.

I wasn't following so closely today and completely missed that until I read your comment. It's because she and Ted were working in workout gear at the Country Club (as is even evident by Eva's water bottle on the dining table); both she and Ted changed outfits when they arrived at other destinations (Eva at Uptown; Ted at Garland Memorial).

Plus, not wanting Donnell/Deanna in Fairmont as protection for them. That's what I'm reading from the work of Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa).
11 hours ago11 hr Member Darlene "The Invisible Woman" Hawthorne is a ridiculous character to be utilizing the way that they're using her. She currently exists on canvas, but not in plain sight, as the wife of the Chief of Police and mother to the three Hawthorne sons. She supposedly just had a dinner date with Jacob and Izaiah and she shares a home with her husband Elon. Why are they utilizing this character without a face in the role? Mentioning Luke is much easier because he's not in close proximity. But Darlene lives, works, and interacts with her family without a visible presence. At this point, at least hire a quick day player actress to play her. Edited 11 hours ago11 hr by Vanguardian53

I used to love colouring and it would keep me more occupied than boring and stale conversation! So now the con artist child bride is adding in a third to her very public meetings with those from her past. For a con artist, she sucks at her profession.Even when being snarky with each other, Bill and Dani have undeniable chemistry that is still bubbling under. 2026 will be their year of reunion. I know it.Lynette is going to blow this cover and I am here for it. But imagine being so petty and lowbrow that you con an elderly man who is likely already struggling with his loss of mind. That is some of the lowest behaviour ever.Eggnog Martini? I am not an eggnog fan, so that truly does sound beyond disgusting!Dana and Marcel are definitely playing a game of cat and mouse, where they both play both roles. The question remains: who will come out on top?Vernon's love for Anita stands strong. And I love that about him!Oops... Andre notices a family portrait he is not a part of in the slightest.Ooo-wee, Lynette continues to stay pressed on their necks, and I love it. She is not someone to play with, and I have a feeling once she is on the warpath, she will leave a wake of destruction in her path.I like that Anita is making it more informal with Andre; he clearly has 'Mr Vernon' and 'Ms Anita' as part of how he was raised, but she is making it acceptable, given their relationship. And the validation she is giving Andre about his parents is positively beautiful!Randy is as dumb as his 'cuz'. For those who run cons, they suck at it and are lazy about their work.Love that we keep getting some backstory of Anita and Vernon's history. It is so beautiful to see.Dani continuing to mock and pick up on the con artist child bride makes me so happy. And Bill's continued looks of disappointment when she walks away speak volumes to me as well. Now, is Marcel's wife really divorcing him? Or is this some kind of con to get into Dana's orbit? And sweetheart, 'Teddy' is not your man. Not now. Not then. Not ever.Bill wants that baby, and his child bride wants to be the only child in their lives. No bueno. The way poor Alan keeps catching strays with Dana is disrespectful. He deserved better than her. Poor guy.Damn. Marcel grabbed the back of her head like his life depended on it. Wowser.Feels like Andre is holding things back from Dani. and I am not sure how to feel about it.Not the past tense talking for Anita; I pray she gets good news after the biopsy for herself and her family They all deserve it.Notes:We were having such a beautiful week. Now, writer2 has shown up and ruined it. Thankfully, Brown is the scriptwriter and he does some of the best work, even when given absolute dogcrap to work with.More crossover mentions! This time it is Michael Baldwin and Lauren Fenmore! How amazing. This is the crossover we need to see!Preying on the elderly is disgusting behaviour. The strong-rooted family dynamics of this soap are what set this soap apart. I love it.
1 hour ago1 hr Member Leslie and Marcel with the lip lock and the hand under the table !!!!!More more more lol.A Bebe's kid mention ? And on a soap lol. I love it Today's show was entertaining Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by Rmodelboy
