Faith Roscoe having a secret Quartermaine offspring would make me so happy especially if that kid eventually lead to Sonny’s death.

I had the idea of him coming in posing as Drew's latest assistant, then gaining information to finagle his way further. He would have higher aims than Sonny (especially as I'd eventually reveal Justus to be alive).

You know I have a singular focus when it comes to Sonny 😂

This show is weirdly love triangle averse but today reminded me that an Emma/Gio/Trina triangle would’ve eliminated the need for Kai altogether.

That would have been fun in some shows, but on here I think they would have just degraded Trina and made her the third wheel.

You mean wanting him dead. ;P

Before the happy accident of Gio/Emma, it seem like Gio was coming in for Trina and they did have chemistry over time, but now...I would say the same.

Yeah, I am not sure what the show has tried to do to course correct Britt. She's as obnoxious as she was the first day she returned.

I agree with others. And I am/was a Britt fan, but I have not seen a course correction either. It is truly like she is in some skit we can't get out of.

I am not a Liason stan, however, Jason as he is right now would fit much more naturally with Liz, who has nothing to do but warn about eye infestations. Give her an Aiden that doesn’t look like he is the same age as his mom and bring back Hudson West as Jake and just get the natural rivalry story going that is right there between him and Danny. Bonus points if we make Danny Bi and he gets involved with Aiden.

If they won’t go there I am not opposed to a Lucky recast. But that still leaves Jason in a pairing not working. And it’s not Burton’s fault, he’s clearly trying.

I know you are not (unlike me), but even from an organic standpoint, you said it. Even PM saw that so it was teased out beautifully. And clearly these writers see that given the very first scene of Monica's funeral was Jason and Liz. It really speaks for itself. But as also said above, they would rather tank the show than let it happen. And that goes back to my fury at Liz being single at the same time as her main love interests (Jason, Ric, and Lucky) all on canvas at the same time and the writers really did NOTHING with that goldmine of story.

I also agree that Burton has definitely been trying. They are just wasting him.

PS. I love that idea for the teens.

@titan1978 I have thought for a while now that Jason/Liz would be a more organic pairing. Honestly, the more mature Sam would have been better than Britt, although I had little desire to go down either road when Jason returned.

I think Britt is barely above Sasha in the potential love interest race. KT and SBu have chemistry. Their brief pairing back in the day was good. I am not sure it had any long term viability though. At this moment Jason has grown and Britt has regressed. The bickering and fake hate routine gets old with them quickly.

As far as Gio/Emma/Trina, I really don't see how Trina would have come out of that unscathed. Gio and Emma would have been the endgame and Trina would have resorted to scheming or lying to try to keep him. Besides I think GM/BB have better chemistry than GM/TA.

-- The Cody and Molly scene and kiss at the end was the best part of the episode. It's the most chemistry I've seen between them, and it's about time GH moved when it comes to couples.

-- The Gio and Emma kiss was also great. I appreciate it when screen partners make a kiss look real, meaning no pursed and closed lips.

So agree with this! I really loved yesterday's episode - more classic soap opera with Christmas feels.

Man the brief quad of Ric/Liz/Lucky/Ava had so much damn potential. And they tanked the sh.it out of it.

It's unbelievable how seemingly drama-averse GH has become in Frank Valentini's hands. Like I said before, if he had his druthers, he'd turn GH into "Home & Hearth," and just fill each episode with goofy hijinks.

It's easier to do with a fourth party and having them both swap partners for awhile. Which is what I'd do, but I'm not that wedded to it.

It’s why Ava is defanged, Watros isn’t allowed to go full psycho, Valentin is a simpering wimp, Laura and Sonny are besties, and everyone is generally way to genial with each other. At least they are allowing some conflict with Drew and Carly turning on Brennan.

I want the kind of sustained animosity we got from Ed Bauer and Roger Thorpe, or Viki and Dorian. The snobbery of Phoebe Wallingford. A general dislike over the years like Erica Kane and Brooke English, or Margo Hughes and Barbara Ryan. GH historically had a supervillain big bad, and then also natural conflict between people that just don’t get along. Bobbie and Lucy could be nice over BJ’s grave, and also rip each other’s hair out later.

It’s why I have loved Drew this year. And why I used to love the way other women felt about Carly. Liz, Robin, Brenda, and Sam all cannot stand her, with good reason.

We should have seen the real Ava get very nasty! Except Ava had to be a near victim of Kristina, and they even squashed that beef too!

It's crazy. Ric also should run for DA or Mayor again, maybe usurp Laura (for a while, not forever) while married to Ava.
