Chase looking all hot, Lucas and Marco being romantic, Valentin’s superhero adventure to escape from prison, some people coming off as unnecessarily bitchy and nasty 😂😂😂

Ryan picked up a lot of habits from so many years under Ron

Yep, yep, ugh.

Hmmm I see.

I can't believe there aren't more people talking about Valentin PARCHUTING out of a plane to escape from prison. I can't take anything about that seriously. And the sheer panic of the entire town acting like he's some mastermind criminal while he's all beat up whining to Carly.

Chase is boring. Brook Lynn is boring. They are boring together lol. Seriously, I get AS's modesty issues. We've discussed it a lot, but does she need full length pjs and a robe? She'd still be modest in the pajamas alone and it would look less awkward. What happened to them adopting a baby, anyhow?

It was off-putting with him there topless and her so covered up. They say opposites attract, but there was nothing attracting in those scenes. Hell, even Sutton's hair (to me) was a mess.

I feel like there's a medium somewhere here. Either put her in a robe with the illusion she's wearing a sexy night gown underneath or put the pj's on an, Idk, unbutton a few buttons. You don't have to be semi naked to appear sexy-just don't act so cold. I know women don't put on sexy silk nightgowns every night, but there should at least be some pretense of fantasy for a couple on a soap.

I agree; hell, put her in a t-shirt and PJ bottoms, with her hair kind of messy in a bun. That is sexy (right?). There are ways to present sexy without looking like you've got a problem, like Maria.

LOL - I thought that was such a random, yet wild way to escape that was just nonchalantly accepted. Something discussed over in the BTG thread, but it was also annoying that it just happened off screen, when it could have been a fun exciting thing to see. I know budgets are tight these days, but they could have given us something. I've been watching 90s GL lately, and the first thing I thought of was when Annie (Cynthia Watros) parachuted out of a plane and left Reva alone on a crashing plane LOL. We got to see that in the 90s, let's see it in 2025!

There is that! A good idea, but still not one I'd keep around forever.

I don't think I'd keep Chase around forever (it's hard to believe Brook Lynn would ever be in a stable marriage, given her family and this being a soap), but there are places I think they could have taken the character. If Sasha had stayed, I think there was more there too in his white knight syndrome, and more conflict with Michael. As it is they aren't doing enough to warrant him staying, since, as you and others have mentioned, they are afraid to make messy story shakeups. Or when they do it's rushed or much too late. I wouldn't be shocked if Dante and Brook Lynn do hook up but after a point where it works for the story.

If Dante and BLQ happen I think it will definitely happen after Chase and Willow. I don't think it would ever last but I really do think all moons orbit Amanda Setton for Frank in that age range at present. Then they'll introduce some other plastic fantasy man out of a Hallmark movie for Brook, or if we're lucky she'll actually net a man with a personality next time.

Ironically, several years ago I was all for them trying out Dante and BLQ as a sort of screwball mystery-solving pair while Lulu was still gone and Setton wasn't quite so buttoned-up. I think it could've been fun. Today she's a schoolmarm, they have an adult son aging them both, Alexa Havins is here and so I just don't care.

I had to reread that last sentence to see who you meant by "Today she's a schoolmarm," because I think at this point it could apply to both BLQ and Lulu. They really need to give Lulu something better to do than fretting over the safety of her kids, because it's making her look hysterical. Have her fall into bed with robot cop Nathan or something, because anything would be more interesting than fretting housefrau Lulu.

They definitely dress Lulu down onscreen and I don't think it is a coincidence given how BLQ/Setton presents. I think they don't want any other woman in that age range looking better than each other tbqh. But they also have given Lulu so little of substance period. And that too I feel is deliberate.
