Just listing every single recast isn't the point of the thread, its ones that were accepted by the general audience. Definitely temp recasts would not fall under that category. Some of those listed were absolutely NOT accepted, ie: Shari Shattuck.

Susan Trustman had been front burner on AW since the premiere as Pat Matthews but Beverly Penberthy seemed to slot in well.

I think the audience was invested in Pat and because Bev was a good actress they went along with it.

AW - Nancy Frangione. Susan Keith was perfectly fine, but Nancy took Cecile to a soaring heights.

I was floored when the recast happened because I knew Nancy as boring Tara on AMC. But, gosh, if she didn't light up the entire show. My entire family loved Celice, including my dad and brother - who got hooked on the show because of her.
