This has to be the genuinely dumbest thing I've watched today, and I've been watching Days of our Lives.

So, you have hot male stripper, who happens to don a firefighter suit during his shows, happen upon a person in need and then the real 9-1-1 crew happens upon him and it turns out to be his long-lost father and brother. Also there's a tornado. That's not mentioning all the other campy trash that is happening here.

Yet I sort of want to watch this, despite never having watched anything from the 9-1-1 franchise. I know it'll go to hell because it's from Ryan Murphy, but this might actually be good for about 13 episodes before it goes into the depths of absolute plot convoluted hell.

A stripper firefighter? I'm in!😂😍

I watch 9-1-1 for Buck and Eddie.

I'll watch the spinoff for the hotness.😂😍

That's exactly why the entire 9-1-1 franchise is so successful. It's all over-the-top madness. Production values are always very good, and the guys are hot. That's good enough for me.

I was about to say the same. My co-worker is always about how over the top those shows are. My shock at finding out Angela Bassett was on there, made me peek in on a few episodes. I liked it.

And since Nashville is another home for me, I might peek in on this as well.

I do enjoy how there seems to be an entire subplot of Leann Rimes being a nasty mother to the hot stripper and wants him to scam his father (the firefighter) for money. I'm guessing there's more to that but still, writing it out makes it sound sort of ridiculous.

It is ridiculous on the page, but 9-1-1 knows exactly what it is, and carries it off.

Citation needed for my opinion that production values are good? Watch the show. This is a network TV drama with a controlled budget compared to the streamers while pushing out 18 episodes per season when streamers give us 6-10.

I could see that. And I don't mind hissing at Leann Rimes given her RHOBH history.

You remind me that I still need to sit down and watch.

I'm still watching it. I'm forty minutes into it. Hunter Mcvey(Blue) stripping to his underwear was hot!

Ryan finding out that he was lied to and that Blue was his brother will be the main focus of this show.

Dixie using her son Blue to get back at Don for not choosing her over his wife will also be interesting.

The emergency of the girl and the kite was ridiculous..😂

Well something different, but all the same for 9-1-1.

I thought the premiere episode was better than the season premiere of 9-1-1.

Of course, the franchise has had years to get that right. ;)
