I was just going to comment that Vanessa and Dani make better friends than Dani and Pam. And I'm curious how Pam would play against Nicole, because I am sure it would read better than whatever Pam and Dani are giving now. 

I think the only way through this is for Martin to go ahead with his press conference.  He can tell the truth and maybe lose his seat in Congress, but he'll have his integrity (and sanity) restored, and his family will be no longer harassed.   
The kids will get teased about it but at least they'd be safe.

Vernon and Anita micromanaging messes end up just making things worse.

I think Pamela is too much of a wackkadoodle for Nicole. Vanessa is more subdued and works well against Nicole and Dani.  I think the way Pamela is written as a cartoon fits the cartoon nature of Dani

I really like Martin being his own man, finally.

 

Her hair was so cute in week 1. I dont know why they insist on putting these ugly straight wigs on her that dont work on her

In the dialogue today between Martin and Vernon, it was confirmed that Martin was merely defending himself against a hate crime.  And Vernon wanted it covered up because people might not understand.

Joey and Bill will try to stop Martin from speaking the truth at his press conference today, but I hope Martin goes through with it.

Yes but it's better than the country club for this situation.

I mean there should be a town hall or something but whatevs.

Even though Bill's no longer family, he's still family. I like his interactions with Martin and how he talks about being there for as he grew up. As much as they hate on him o what he did to Dani, I think a part of the Duprees still appreciate him to else they wouldnt still be going back to him

Exactly.  Bill offers to be Martin's attorney so that Bill can claim attorney-client privilege. This allows Bill to avoid discussing anything about himself in Martin's situation.

• Oh Lord, Deadbeat is throwing a press conference? This is the LAST thing she should be doing. Tell your family what's been going on first, moron.
• BRADLEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! OMG! BE CAREFUL!
• At least Vernon had the sense to get to Deadbeat to try and stop the damage from being done... and he should listen to his grandfather because he's being way too irrational right now.
• I love the sibling bond between Samantha and Tyrell; you can tell they're really close and that Bradley did a fine job raising those two.
• Deadbeat, look at the hurt and tears in your grandfather's eyes... and you're going to go public with this? And not even tell your husband or children? Shame on you. SHAME!
• So, Bill and Joey seem closely associated, which makes me continue to question Joey... is he a two-timing gangster? A former cop? Still a cop doubling as a gangster? Like... I'm intrigued. Very intrigued.

• Cute back story Bill: very cute back story, and voila, here's Marcel, gun to Kenny's side... could he be doing what Randy refused to do?
• Not Joey using Vanessa for his image! Haha. That's hilarious.
• Look at Jacob hyping up Naomi... and this June mystery is getting deeper and deeper.
• Good job, Bradley, for standing up for yourself and your children. THAT is what a parent does.
• Well, bye-bye, Kenny... right? Or is it a staged image to buy them some more time? Because I didn't see a speck of blood in that dead grass area!

Notes:

• I love the new wig on Arielle Prepetit (Naomi); however, it does feel a bit... flat, no? Perhaps some baby hairs would make it more of a seamless look?
• The scenes between Mike Manning (Bradley) and Jason Vendryes (Stranger/Kenny) feel quite... pasted in. Very quick and to the point.

My goodness massive 🙄 I will have to comment on this and how dumb it all feels in a sec.

But I had to laugh when Samantha said if he's not here where would he (Martin) go...girl, maybe his wealthy grandparents or parents homes with more than enough rooms.
