Three people are shot. 

One person doesn't survive surgery.

The spoiler doesn't specify why why the nonsurvivor is operated on  -- was the nonsurvivor one of the three shooting victims? Or were they or sick, or injured in another way?

Three Shot and go to surgery - my guess:

1) Sheila - survives, of course. Li's patient

2) Remy - survives - Bridget's patient and future squeeze lol

3) Teacher - dies - Grace is distracted over whatever going with her. Her rewrite malpractice with Liam is eventually exposed. 

Steffy - not shot. No way with JMW this late in pregnancy would they ask her to fall, lie on an operating room table, etc. The thing is: JMW would probably be game because she gives her all.

If it were me, the three shot would be Will, his sweet and boring girlfriend, and Liam, with all of them gone.😂

Thursday: A difficult realization about Liam is made. 
Friday: Bill wants to see Liam.

I have some creative guesses, but I'm probably totally wrong:

guess #1
Maybe Liam is *not* shot,
but he is undergoing surgery for his brain tumor, and then the surgery is unsuccessful.
So then he offers to be an organ donor in order to save one of the shooting victims, since he believes that he's going to die anyhow. 
The "difficult realization" is that he's a compatible donor,
and the process is ready to start.
So then Bill wants to see him the next day to say good-bye?

Maybe Liam is *not* shot, and *not* undergoing surgery.
But since he believes that he's going to die anyhow,
he offers to be an organ donor in order to save one of the shooting victims.
he "difficult realization" is that he's a compatible donor, 
So then Bill wants to see him the next day to try to convince Liam to seek treatment and to *not* donate?

Or maybe Liam *is* shot,
and when they do surgery to remove the bullet,
the "difficult realization" is that he was misdiagnosed and never had a tumor at all?
And Bill wants to see Liam because Liam was shot.

 

(my guess #3 is more likely since that's the most boring idea)

So on this trash... every other year someone is terminally ill, but miraculously survives... and every other year... people are shot like dogs in despicable situations, but yet... don't die.

Odds of Liam dying: zero. 

No way would Ridge + Brooke go to Italy immediately after Kelly/Beth lost their father. 

Plus, aren't there rumors that both Liam and Luna appear in September scripts?

IF he dies, it's not going to be soon. Brad is going to milk it for all it's worth even though like a huge majority are over it and just want Brad to piss or get off the pot

Agreed. The fact that $B, Will and Wyatt are in the dark only made a bad story even worse. I'd have used the tumor as a catalyst to reset the character as *dark* Liam. I think the challenge would energize SC, who is a solid actor that has been given pathetic material for years.
