ARTICLE: Yvette Nicole Brown to Join ‘Beyond the Gates’ Executive Producer Sheila Ducksworth on IG Live

“Beyond the Gates” executive producer Sheila Ducksworth will be joined in conversation with “Community” actress Yvette Nicole Brown on Tuesday, April 8, as part of an Instagram Live event.

Scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT, immediately following the West Coast broadcast of the daytime drama series, the two will be on hand to discuss all things Fairmont Crest.

“Looking forward to a fabulous time with theeeee FABULOUS Yvette,” commented Ducksworth in a post on X (formerly Twitter), announcing the IG Live.

“ I will be going LIVE with @sheiladucks the AMAZINGLY talented Executive Producer of my new favorite soap @beyondthegatescbs! Tony [Davis] and I don’t miss our stories! Join us tomorrow to chat all about this super fun show!” shared Brown in a joint post on Instagram.

Premiering in February, “Beyond the Gates” is the first brand new daytime drama series to premiere on network television in more than 25 years. 

The soap opera follows the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty, who live in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., and in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States. 

While living the dream life of pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens, their world is filled with juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. As for those outside the gates, they are watching ever so closely.

Lots of very interesting information about the production of BTG.  Sets. Background actors, casting.  Lots of info, too much for me to summarize.  I recommend listening to it all.

In the last five or ten minutes, Sheila Ducksworth thanked her team of Courtney Miller and Ethan Ambrose. They are both with NAACP/CBS Joint Venture.
