so, how old is eva supposed to be?

leslie/dana keeps saying that ted left her for nicole, which sounds like leslie/dana were together before ted and nicole married and would make eva older than martin, who, has to be at least 25 to be a congressman. and, it doesn’t seem as though he was just elected, which puts him closer to 30. 

finding it hard to believe that that anita and vernon are that old. 

as i’m typing, martin just told nicole that he wants to run for president — minimum age 35! — this is the kind of silliness that is so easily avoided.

• The friendship between Dana ("Leslie), Jan & Mona is so nice. Good seeing recurring players being given purpose. Jan & Mona are working for the Duprees in some capacity, and Dana targeting them. It's brilliant.
• Vanessa & Diego are clearly "exercising" during their sessions, and the true cracks of her marriage to Douglas have begun! Juicy, mama!
• Eva vs. Katherine is going to be juicy. I love it already.
• Well, it looks like Eva might go against her momma feeling that connection to her supposed father.
• Oh wow, here comes Nicole's more momma tiger side where Katherine is concerned. How nice.
• So we're dropping actual blog sites like TMZ and the Shade Room?! Wow.
• Not the knock-off Gucci! The shade of it all!
• So we've got Jacob's father on the scene?! Whew. Welcome!
• Douglas is a gambler, I see. Interesting. I see this is likely where Joey Armstrong is going to come into play.
• The best mother-daughter pairing is Dana & Eva. I'm calling it now.
• I do like the chemistry between Nicole and Brandon as mother-in-law/son-in-law.

ITA. They could at least throw in a line saying that they adopted them when they were 11 and 12 years old, for example. Then, it would be much more believable. At least Smitty got to give Martin a quick kiss on the cheek. The lack of affection and tenderness between them has been striking compared to the other couples.

If Martin's going to be running for president, he needs to work on being less wooden! LOL

I LOVE Leslie. She is soooo messy, and I'm here for it.

Jacob is SOOOO hot, and the actor has a nice ease to him that is missing in Martin.

Ashley's growing on me, but they really need to have her in scenes with Naomi a lot more to tie her into things. Her boyfriend (Brian?) just falls flat. He still comes across as just generic handsome guy who we are just supposed to think is hot. How much is the actor, the writing, etc, I don't know, but if I had to pick the first character to fade into the background it would be him. He needs an edge...or something...to make him interesting.
