From Michael F interview Lisa said she asked the producers once after she started why Luna keeps saying the same things over and over like "Cousin Finn" and was told not everyone tunes in so we have to do a little recap just in case" lmao

Maybe it the show was half-decent people would actually listen to what the characters say and they wouldn't have to repeat everything. Now it's so boring I don't blame people for tuning out.

Oh, it's true alright... but there is a way to do what they aim to do, without recycling dialogue 5 episodes in a row.

Honestly though Y&R used to have the most unnatural dialogue and constant context cues. I swear there was a period of a month where Eric Braeden/Victor was saying things like “Have you seen my former wife Nikki, mother to my children Nicholas and Victoria”.   Next few scenes “and was my daughter Victoria and son Nicholas WITH Nikki, you know my former wife - were the children with her when you saw her leave?”  And on and on and on

I could use some of that this week. The show has been so stiflingly boring I could use some laughs and diversion.

I have stopped watch as long as Luna is on the show!  I despise the character and the actress.

I have stopped due to basically Daphne Rose. It's a one step too far into the bizarre for me.

Luna works as a psycho bad girl. These scenes with her crying -- every damn day -- over her new father? No. Just no. Those crying faces she makes -- every damn day -- are too much. They'd better get back to Luna creating havoc for everyone around her.

On a show with many bizarre characters over the years, no one has that combination of bizarre and annoying that Daphne Rose does.

From the day she walked into the room and everyone had an orgasm when they smelled her, it's been a mess. Believing she has some mystical, magical effect on Carter (and others) is laughable.

Worst of all? We've never been given any indication why she'd do any of this. Why would someone so influential and powerful be a part of Steffy's plan to take down Carter and Hope? What does she gain? None of it makes sense.
