Following an explosive first week, things get even hotter on “Beyond the Gates” during the week of March 3-7, 2025 when the Duprees come together as a family unit after the stunt Dani (Karla Mosley) just pulled at Bill’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) wedding to Hayley (Marquita Goings). Will they be able to get the media on their side when they call for a press conference? Or will the world see things a bit differently?

Martin (Brandon Claybon) tries to get ahead of things when those around him start to question his motives, particularly his husband, Smitty (Mike Manning). Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) daughter, Kat (Colby Muhammad), grows suspicious of Eva (Ambyr Michelle), while Eva manipulates matters to her own benefit.

I think that was suspected; in October 2020, she announced her exit from the role. All the report claimed was she was "out at the soap she has called home since 2013," which does read like she was let go. But I'm more inclined to believe Karla Mosley's version of events. I think it's admirable she was concerned about being a cisgender woman portraying a trans role. Even in her chat with Michael Fairman on Friday, she hinted the role should/should have been recast with a transgender actor.
