Oh, I get your point.  I just feel Skye's ties to the Q's are flimsy at best at this point.  I wouldn't be opposed to bringing Skye back exactly-it's just not at the top of my wish list.  Then again, JJ as Lucky and bringing Lulu back were and I have been underwhelmed so far.

Flimsy, sure, but feels more authentic than the two family members we've got on the canvas right now. Plus, more solid than Austin Gatlin-Holt or whatever they tried with that character!

Speaking of Skye, I'm still not clear whether she, in fact, is a real Quartermaine.

Obviously I am aware of your opinion in this regard. I did not mistake your reply for a compliment.

Personally, I don't think anyone should be added to this cast unless & until about 15 people are sent packing.

Ya know, this to me is just fans talking more or less "what ifs" & not with any serious intent behind it. I can't really escape the fact that I think this cast is bloated.

I know they had the un-Qing so she could date Ned, but I wonder if the real reason was just Guza hating the retcon.

The last year shows how much interest GH has in a black canvas - they actively suppress any attempt at that happening.

I do think Gio as a long lost son of Dante and Brook Lyn wouldn't be the worst idea (Brook Lyn is already matronly and Dante already has a kid who is in his teens), but you know they are not going to do anything with the story possibilities. His being like AJ, as some have mentioned, would be the best way to go.

I've never thought Skye worked on GH or OLTL (I think she was a better fit on GH than OLTL - she was just awful on there), but if the canvas ever opens up (Nina and Ava finally leaving, or more Qs going again), having her on in some capacity could work.

The problem is—this story with Brook Lynn & Dante goes against what we've seen with our eyes. Logistically, could it have worked? Sure. Why not? But does it mean it should? No.

You're right, but I don't think it's as egregious as some other choices (like Cody with Dominique and Mac or Sasha with Robert and Holly). It's not a story I would have done, but I at least see the potential.

Sasha would have been better linked to Nina than Nelle/Willow combined, but that's just my hot take.

That could have been a good story. Maybe Willow would grow jealous and that would further her embracing the dark side.

Possibly? I have little faith in both Korte & Van Etten to execute anything right now. I'm also wondering which former AMC set they're going to rip off for Drew's five bedroom, six bathroom home.

She's not by blood.  Alan isn't her father.  I actually don't know if we know who her father is.  Alan legally adopted this 40 plus woman though, so she is a Quartermaine.
