At this point they've degraded the meaning of the award to a point of no return... I mean... So many undeserving wins. But yeah I agree it will be cool to see her just for the moment to go on stage and have that memory.

And Baby Jane is the perfection emotion

The best thing about today's show was Finn's hot chest.

The rest is tired. No woman would've put up with someone like Ridge.

Brooke reminiscing about the glory hole @Jeff was ridiculous.

Brooke and Taylor are pathetic. Ridge is a loser.

 You got it, darling.

P.S

I am in the process of catching up with the episodes and God... why is Taylor wearing this bizarre little ensemble? Is there some kind of agenda in making Taylor look... so... matronly... brown and grey? Is Bradley trying to erase her femininity or youth or something. Rebecca is still a very young woman and there is no denying that. If he dressed her with something that would look good on her... she would look younger than Steffy. Maybe that's what he is trying to hide with these wardrobe choices.

And once again Brooke is flat-lining. Just as I'm about to root for her... she flops again. I honestly think this woman at this point is so gaslit and destroyed mentally by Ridge's cold/hot attitude for 40 years... that she has lost any sense of self-respect and dignity. I am giving her a little more time to cry and look pathetic... and then I want to see what I saw couple of days ago. Do it, Bradley!

I thought the same thing while watching. Taylor's ensemble was tragic.

Of course, no one in the episode was dressed much better. There was barely any style or color anywhere. Brooke wore blue and Donna deep pink, but Ridge, Finn, Steffy, and Katie all wore dark colors. This show about fashion needs something that resembles fashion.

And the sad thing is... I would forgive all these horrible wardrobe choices... if the dialogue and story was good. But it isn't. It's bad. And when it's so bad... you start noticing all the other bad things. Ugh. What a cringe situation.

    • Well, I am glad to know that & for it to make sense, so thanks for the info &  the perspective, also. At the end of AMC 1.0, I thought the new young talent was really quite good, but I missed Eden & NuBianca just ... well, I wasn't 100% sold on her & Bianca was so important to me. But then, Tad & Dixie were also important & yep, there's another problem, for me I mean. I'm not your typical AMC fan but I hung in there anyway. I know what you mean because it wasn't as good as it once had been but it was still Agnes's show in Pine Valley. Some of that is a bittersweet nostalgic clinging to the past, I guess. By that time I'd been through so many show cancellations. AW, Santa Barbara, PC, The City, GL, ATWT.

Betsy Snyder, when she was at DAYS was part of the WGA winning writing team before she died, tragically far too young.
    • Yep Edmund and Tad went under cover to infiltrate the... Willow Lake (I think?) old folks community scandal that was exploiting Phoebe, etc.  (Which at one point led to Edmund rescuing Brooke from quicksand--common around Pine Valley I guess

) EDIT maybe I'm wrong.  I found the quicksand scene

But for the story all I can find is Edmund going undercover as the gigolo "preying" on older women, Eduardo (no one would recognize him with that disguise and name ) so the drag must have been.. a different story?
    • But then he HATES the original Heather Webber (Cher's half sister played her, right?) and we know what happened when Robin would step into the role a year after this.  He does seem pretty spot on about actors who show promise otherwise.  It's interesting he knocks OLTL early on (though I loved all the recently released episodes from this era we got) but does give a lot of credit to the actress playing Cathy despite earlier complaining about her story.  And over all, while quite negative, his various pros and cons on the shows sounds about right with what I know of the shows at this time. This was a July dated issue of the magazine but and I know they date mags a month or two in advance--obviously when he wrote this he didn't know Lovers and Friends was gonna go off the air (in May I think).
    • You know one of the soap outlets posed that question just last week: Who do you want Trina with Spencer or Kai? And, of course, the picture of Spencer was NAC. I said, well, a lot. I chose Kai. I said that Spencer had been an entitled brat & that some people valued him over her, when I valued her above all others. I guess we'll see.
    • You're right. The only thing I can think of is if GH finally decides to bring back Spencer.
    • Sharon Rose Gabet told me on Facebook that she calls this "Baby Raven".
    • I imagine the storyline would now segue into Laura's accident. But I hope they manage to keep Leslie around though. I really don't want her to be written out, or get the DOOL treatment where she just pops up every so often to cause some short term trouble; the character and the actor were such a find.
