To be honest, my endorsement of Sasha was more "she's better than Willow" than an actual like of the character.  I just thought she had more potential.  I was ready to write her off when she became the Q cook, but it seems like she has a bit more story now.  And, no, I don't agree with the Robert/Holly kid nonsense still.

Glad to hear your apartment is still safe.  I haven't lived in LA for awhile now, but it sounds absolutely terrible.

I was only able to catch the last 20 or so minutes of Thursday and Friday’s shows so I’ll share more thoughts after a Hulu binge but I loved what I saw so far with Jason flashing back to baby Michael, Joss and Carly going in on Willow and Drew and vice versa plus Willow taking advantage of having Michael’s medical proxy. Indon’t think Michael will end up dead from the digitalis dosage but the show does have me at the edge my seat for Monday.

I did randomly put on the 2022 episode Hulu uploaded just to play something in the background and I can see why people enjoyed the Cassadine stuff with Esme, Spencer, Nic and Ava. Nicholas Chavez and Maura West specifically had me paying attention to their scenes. The rest of the show was boring as hell and made me remember why I didn’t tune in for ages. Leo and Chase singing a song was the focal point for some reason and IDK what the hell was going on with Sasha but it stunk. I will say the lighting on the show looked better then than it does now and it seemed like they did less static camera work too.

Glad to read your apartment is in good standing @Vee

??? You may have intended for this response to have been “all in fun” but it comes across mad patronizing at best to me. @NiqueAlexis2020 using a few nick names didn’t make their post that hard to decipher.

Similar to Chase, I think Sasha works well as a likeable, mostly decent support figure, contrasting all the ugliness. Unfortunately, they seem to have thrown into so many questionable choices of late, like being Robert and Holly's daughter and a potential pairing with Jason.

Good way to describe her.  She's likeable, mostly nice, and is just the kind of supporting character you need.  Sasha is never going to be a breakout star, but she's pleasant enough.  The character has also gone through an insane amount of tragedy year after year so you do just kind of root for her happiness.

They're telling everyone in L.A. to stay inside, as the air is not breathable. And they're saying don't drink or bathe in the water due to toxic ash, etc.  So even if your apartment is fine ..
Whatever you decide to do, hope you are safe.

All Diane has to do is to show a judge that Willow took her Son to Washington and left him in a different hotel room while she and Drew had sex. No one was watching her toddler. No Judge should give her custody or keep her as Michaels medical Proxy.

Tbf Wiley is 6 now - possibly more if he's been SORASed. He was born only a few months after James but they don't show him as nearly as often.

Edit: Just checked and both Wiley and James are played by 9 year olds.

I could be wrong but I thought Willow left Wiley with a nanny or a sitter not unattended for hours lol.   All she said was that she wanted to be there when Wiley woke up.  I didn't think that meant he was alone in the hotel room.  That's kind of hilariously negligent if he was.

Of course Carly will challenge that legally. Whether she will prevail or not, we will have to wait & see. Clearly she has a good case against Willow because among other things, Michael had already had Willow served & taken action legally to divorce her & try to get sole custody. These things will work in Carly's favor. Thank goodness for Diane!

Good question.  I have a tendency to fill in gaps on small things in my own head when watching GH or Days so I just assumed someone was watching Wiley. I suppose there could have been adjoining rooms.

I think I am giving Willow/Drew way too much credit.  They did have sex in a playroom with a nanny cam so they really don't care about anyone else.  Everyone keeps harping on Willow bringing Wiley over state lines, but no character has really asked where Scout or Wiley were while Willow/Drew were hooking up.

    • The Saturday 8pm slot usually had the lowest rating of the NBC 4 sitcom lineup for some reason. NBC let Saturday night fizzle, They used 9.30 pm to launch 227 and Amen, both of which moved to earlier in the evening but they  kept Empty Nest following GG for several seasons.  Empty Nest should have moved to 8pm with their strongest new sitcom at 9.30, anticipating that GG would eventually falter. Instead they left them there and stretching the sitcom pool too thinly on other nights. When Grand talk over at 9.30 Thurs maybe Night Court and Wings could have been used on Saturday.
    • @Maxim Great to see your mini-reviews again. There are a number of clips on Youtube of Janice's slow mental breakdown. Christine Jones is just superb. She played the hell out of that role. Something which isn't referenced as much later on is how Mitch pushed Janice's doubts and mental instability for his own ends...until suddenly he didn't want to anymore (I guess he caught on with the audience and the show became wary). I don't want to post a bunch of clips, but this one has a very good confrontation between Rachel and Janice.

    • It really made Oscar the Doorman seem like an imbecile.   I think the show's unusual format & subject manner is what makes EON often seem less "dated" and "old-fashioned" than other shows from that time period.  It never attempted to be especially "trendy" or "modern" -- and its film noir style is pretty timeless.
    • Dallas, Dynasty, Knots and Falcon Crest all had good runs but by 85 they had seen better days. I think they were a victim of the format. After several seasons seeing the same characters front and center viewers were bored. What was once fascinating grew predictable. JR, Alexis etc had to be front and center and after a while their schemes and shtick grew repetitive. JR remarrying Sue Ellen, Alexis constantly trying to get he better of Blake etc Unlike daytime, there wasn't the flexibility to bring in other stories and characters and maybe let the likes JR go backburner. That same mentality also invaded daytime with characters like  Sonny and Victor still peddling the same stuff after decades. I guess the same could be said for MSW eg every week Jessica encounters a crime and solves it,but I think viewers come to that format with a different mindset.
    • Daphnee and Trisha did a live stream on Instagram and confirmed they find out if the show gets picked up in May. This pretty much confirms they're on the primetime schedule like the Bell soaps. Fingers crossed we get a multi-year renewal announcement soon!  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJSsYb7PDv8/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
    • I don't think Lois the character was there.  The Lois we knew from the 90s has pretty much died with this  Gio story crap.
    • Have to agree re MM. The goody two shoes character and writing doesn't help but maybe a more dynamic actor would help Brandon lift his game also. I found the song sequence a little OTT. First of all it should have been shorter and maybe the song fades out and just some music to accompany the montage. I think it would have worked better if Anita had have been alone after everyone left and started tinkling leading into the song, with Vernon coming in observing and then joining her for  a close moment. Everyone standing around felt a little too much. And that closing effect with the two blackscreens meeting was unnecessary. Just a fade out would have been enough.

    • And sadly I think that’s the trivia Both Jeanne Cooper and Eric Braeden went with for years and years. Lol
    • But people were hating so bad on amc and the final year and the ratings sucked. Business wise they made the right call. Oltl who even gained some ratings back and weren’t they higher as GH at one point is a decision and never understood.
