Alex can stick around though, but I think he needs to be written more like the villain because that would be more in line with how RSW plays it.

That's more than fair. He deserves it & she deserves to be the doer. Good point! I'm still peeved that they spent one whole scene of Stephen Schnetzer's time with dadgummed Leo in the square. But Gwen's grievance eclipses everyone else's.

I couldn’t stand Gwen either for a while, but what was done to her was just so cruel and so disgusting that, even though I still didn’t like her, I’ve started to go easier on her

Now that would be a good thread! I could definitely vote for Gwen being cheated on by her husband Dimitri with her supposed bestie Leo & then nominate RSW's Alex for being the straight male fantasy figure in the supposed WLW story of Challie. DAYS has had all this diversity but the writing!

Thanks.  I have seen this already.  Some of the Leo/Alex stuff has already aired and just because the show hasn't fired both of them doesn't mean they are a main focus.  It actually looks like the show is moving into other stories with other characters.

I’m sure they are. I fully expect that we’ll still be seeing Leo and Alex 9 months from now. 

After a great week last week, we’re back to the same old Ron/Jamey mess. I know every soap has its highs and lows, but in their case, the lows are pretty low. Sometimes they couldn’t get lower even if they tried

Why can’t Leo just go to somebody at the Spectator to find out who the new Lady Whistleblower is, since everyone who works there supposedly loves him 🤮🤮

Rafe/GG deserves so much better than this. I hope the potential conflict between him and Jada isn’t sidelined because of this crap. Luckily, judging by their final scene today, it might not be, even though the writing in that scene could have been a lot better. And yeah, reminding us (for like the millionth time) of that self-sabotage bullshit isn’t gonna make us like Leo, just sayin’. But yes Leo, Javi is too good for you. Everyone is too good for you. 

Speaking of Javi, his scenes with Jada were ok. It was nice to see him interact with other characters. Btw, welcome back, Kerry 😍

I imagine him showing up today was another way for them to try to make us have sympathy for Leo, but I’m sorry, I just didn’t. Leo aside, it’s almost impossible to build sympathy for a character after you’ve made them the worst person ever. 

As for Johnny/Chanel/Alex, idk about Johnny’s lie today. It could add a pretty good and interesting dynamic to this storyline, or it could just have been laziness on the part of a writer. Lol who knows? 

Galen and Elia both deserve better material than this crap under Ron and the lady whistleblower stuff isn't really a actual conflict for Rafe and Jada characters because it a dumb plot to give Leo more airtime.
