GH: December 2024 Discussion Thread

Having kids on the canvas doesn't bother me as much as it does others. What bothers me is the lack of story for them, overall. Look at James, he is the poster kid: he has story, he has the star quality and he is the best of Maxie's three spawns.

Well, I guess I'm in the minority, but I liked Rory. And that was also a potential good triangle that could have happened for Trina as well...cut short (pun unintended) by the mess that was the Hook.

Honestly I believe Blaze will return. Just not yet. It's gonna be awhile.

Nothing wrong with the minority! If you liked him, good for you! It's not like he wasn't worthy. And, yes, that damned Hook ruined lots of things.

Can't re-write something that wasn't carefully executed to the point the audience figured it all out before it even began.

Okay, that was good. My only nitpick was how the Tracy/Lulu reunion was basically and abruptly just dropped into the middle of a good episode, destroying the momentum that was going on in the episode. And that has NOTHING to do with JE and AB who did a great job. I'm immediately in love with their very immediate rapport. 

 

But before Lulu showed up, I loved the gang-up on Drew. He had it coming. Michael was able to give a little bit of wrath. And then he let Tracy and Ned right in. I LOVE them tearing Drew apart. And he's clearly running scared when his smug self is reduced to begging. And then him at Willow's door...omg he's obsessed.

 

I thought the Dante/Lulu scenes were cute. Of course, Dante was giving straight man to Lulu's feistiness. And there was for sure spark. 

 

And yay!!! As Dex's death showed a pattern. And that pattern appears to be leading into a LIZ'S story. And so far, she's still Lead. Good. And darn it if EM was not selling her grief as Joss. 

 

I will always be here for Nina vs Carly. And Carly was soooo being CARLY!!!! I didn't realize how much I missed her annoying tail, but lol. 

Now you know we all didn't think it was Heather originally.

Yeah, I believe she will. The real question is...will her brother be on canvas by that point?

You saw that triangle, did you? Me, too. I mean I'm all in for L&L2 but Ric makes it obvious he wants in, too.

Also though Ric could be a pairing with Ava, ship name: Avarice, meaning greed!

And, Ric could also pair with Alexis, but I'm thinking NLG would squash that like a bug.

I'm part of that minority, too. I liked Rory and thought it was a mistake to kill him off.

I do not miss Finn or Violet. Liz is getting better material without Finn.

Lulu waking up was a happy event.

No one does. Also I don't miss Gregory. And, of course life is better for Liz being free from that albatross she had around her neck.

I am disappointed that Kevin and Ace did not appear in Laura’s Christmas scenes.
