Oh boy. I just googled this kid and we're about to get spammed by his pix in the traditionally uncomfortable way we've all become accustomed to.

I didn’t mind the one kid everybody complained so much about but the one they had baking with Sasha was cringe worthy even though he looked exactly like Becky Herbst.

*prays this does not happen* I am close to reporting those kind of posts; it's uncomfortable, and predatory.

Who? Tristan Riggs? Or Enzo De Angelis?

The show recently started following him on Instagram so it became obvious they had cast him in a role. Not sure why they needed to recast Aiden, again!

Neither of the last two kids were exactly Haley Joel Osment, let's face it.

He's an attractive fellow but does read a bit old for the part, though I am sure they will dress and style him young.

I noticed; I semi-suspected a potential Cameron recast at this point. Maybe Riggs wasn't readily available for them, and they want story for an older Aiden? hmmm.

I suspect Aiden/Lucas, even though they are quasi-related, albeit not by blood. It's not like Lucas has been around much, and Lucky has been a deadbeat for so long that his Spencer side isn't even relevant. Heck, even Laura (his grandmother on Lucky's side) doesn't even talk to the kid much.

It would definitely be a "go there" storyline that I don't necessarily hate!!

Oddly, I agree. When I first heard Van might have been cast as Lucas a few weeks ago, and would be on contract, I knew they wouldn't do all that just for him and Brad to be endgame. It screams boring. No long-term potential or shock value.

Riggs is the one who baked cookies for an episode and thankfully disappeared and Enzo was the one I didn’t mind but definitely wasn’t front burner storyline ready.

I’m with @Vee neither was impressive and I’d rather they recast than keep poor to mid range actors in legacy roles.

Wait. What are we talking about here lol? The only thing I was thinking was Lucas mentoring Aiden or something, they're basically related.

I do agree no way they put Lucas back on contract for more nonsense with Brad.

Exactly. It just... doesn't click for me, honestly. But the conceptual idea of Aiden & Lucas kind of does work for me. Controversial, but not as much as say Jonathan & Tammy were on Guiding Light. Just hope they [finally] commit to telling Aiden's storyline... bummed we likely won't be getting Aiden & Tobias, though.

I didn't mind Riggs, honestly. I just don't think we saw enough of him to get a concept of him as Aiden. De Angelis got the short-end of the stick. The kid put in the work, and they tossed him.

Haha. Sorry, we veered off. But we're not the only ones thinking this. I've now seen others discussing it elsewhere.
