JF is worse. However I give him grace considering hes young and has less experience.in the acting field he has more potential than TN. But TN works for bold. Because he currently has stuff to overcompensate for his bad acting. His looks, screen presence and chemistry with Steffy. Josh doesn’t have anything. & I think they should recast RJ. In fact I think that’s why the character has been backburned.

that being said their both bad actors.  so I don’t even feel the need to compare lol. I js think TN has qualities to make up for it.

It's almost like someone wrote that Deadline article for The Onion. I couldn't believe he was quoted as saying those things. That last paragraph is horrible.

Friday's episode was not good. 'Here's some coconut water...' and neither Finn nor WitchLi couldn't bother to text Ridge/Taylor after getting Steffy out of there? Terrible.

RB was by far the best thing on it. Like @Maxim, while I'm not seeing *Taylor* - I am watching an actor who actually has presence. You'd never guess this was her 7th episode.

I'll treat her as Taylor's half-sister, Tay-lee. I look forward to more scenes where she tears it up with AN + KKL.

I second this, I will treat her the same! Team-Tay-lee! And am also waiting for her scenes with KKL and AN, especially KKL, with whom she has such powerful chemistry. I can give that to Bradley, at least - he found someone who even though is not Taylor, has superb chemistry with Brooke.

I also agree about that bizarre deadline article. It sounded like Bradley is trolling his own show... Strange.

I haven’t seen it this week, the screaming cage scenes - were skip it material for me.  But I’m telling you - GL should have gone the route of despicable Michelle Bauer when they had her.  Kind of a nod to their sister show and Lisa.  Was meant to be the sweet friend.  Then she wasnt!

It was really cringe - the cage scenes with absurd dialogue and then that catfight with the Nozawa Power! ending... was beyond camp - it was just distasteful and cartoonish. I really can't imagine what I would feel if as an actor someone tells me to body slam someone and end it with Nozawa Power, like I am WWE star.

Just distasteful.

Can't Bradley just retire and hire a new writer? Can a girl dream?

I was hoping for more scenes with them. Instead it was rushed and we got Poppy and $Bill....yawn!

Liam has become useless and should've been one of Luna's victims.

Katie and Will chat about $Bill.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

RJ is so distraught over Luna that we are just told instead of showing us.

Brooke and Hope talking about her obsession with Finn...... Damn! Bradley is trying to squeeze out any possible drama left. Hope has become the new Liam. There is no story here anymore. Move on!!

I said they will all be gone in a few weeks and it's already done. And it was written in the most comical absurd way possible. Without any logic, class or substance. Just trash. I feel sad for some of the actors that we are probably not gonna see again.

Pointless storylines that led to nowhere.

9-5

Let me go ahead and say it...I don't know why these psychos keep trying my gal Li. SHE GETS YOUR ASSES EVERY TIME!!!!! lol. I loved they weaved Li into the climax to the murder mystery story. And yes...Finn breaking down the door was so camp. As was Luna pushing her aunt out of the way so she could make a run for it.

It was nice to see Finn be the hero. And YES, that was hot to me. Like I mentioned last week, he has been dumbed down for so long that seeing him using his brain is a thrill to watch. And then him recusing Steffy with that Monaco music in the background. *swoons*

I don't know about Poppy leaving yet. She still has to play disapproval from Will...who now has another reason to dislike her with Bill as well as a rivalry with Katie. But...Brad could prove me wrong.

Hope looks so pathetic.

Steffy tells the rapist that Luna wasn't drugged and she took advantage of him. The rapist tries to act with fake tears. RJ tries to act but can't. I see nothing but more bigger bulging muscles. Brooke and RJ apologize to the rapist...UGH!!!

Oh look pizza man showed up!

Hope could not BE more pathetic, showing up in her shortest black skirt and giving Finn the f.uck-me eyes.

That scene in the Forrester living room had me howling -- all those people in one room. The blocking for that must have been hilarious, especially when we get the round-robin where every character gets one line such as "All of this is hard to believe!"

I can look at Joshua Hoffman (R.J.) all day because of those bigger bulging muscles, but he is no actor. Delon de Metz isn't much better as Zende. Their bro make up ("I'm sorry, bro."
Me, too, bro" was hysterical.

Pizza Man showed up looking like he needs to eat a pizza. Sean Kanan hit the Ozempic and forgot to put down the pen.

    • Martin and Smitty's kids not being there seemed like a glaring omission.
    • Thanks so much for finding this & posting it. This makes me so angry!!!
    • Dani had a flashback of Dani getting ready for an event with Bill. The gown she wore in the flashback was light green and elegant and gorgeous. The light green flashback dress was quite different than the red/orange/lilac swirling print beaded gown that Dani is wearing to Nicole's anniversary party.   But there was clearly the show's intention to have the Dupree women (except for Nicole) wearing shades of red.   I love Anita but the red gown that she's wearing to the anniversary party -- not flattering.
    • I think you can find them here https://www.tumblr.com/tagged/OLTL What's there is recaps from SOD at the times it shows which is usually from way back up till 2003. Most if not all of this is due to Matt Smith who you may recall from his AW playlists on YoutTube.
    • Party wardrobe color theme: Good Queen Nicole is in a solid gold gown. The other Dupree women (plus Smitty) are wearing shades of red/pink (with purple accents) -- Anita, Dani, Chelsea, Kat, in dresses. -- Smitty in white shirt and maroon jacket. (did not see Naomi?) "The help" Eva and Mona are in black. Antagonist queen Leslie/Dana in a black/gold gown. The men (except for Smitty) are wearing black. Ted - white shirt, black tie, black jacket. (Ted's jacket was shiny with back polka dots on black background) Vernon - black turtleneck, white dress shirt over it, black jacket (no tie). Andre - black T-shirt, gold chain, black jacket. Martin - black shirt, black tie, black jacket. Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald - white shirt, black tie, black jacket. (did not see Jacob?) I didn't see Naomi and Jacob at the party, but perhaps they arrive later? The evening is not over yet.

I enjoyed his scenes with Johnny. Both of their perspectives make perfect sense to me and are completely relatable. There’s no right or wrong person in this situation and I like that. LH  does pretty well when Tate is angry too, but I also liked the way that he comforted Johnny in the end. Days is finally remembering that they’re cousins. And, Johnny looked hot in the beginning   Btw, Johnny going to work for Xander? That could be interesting. And, also can cause some more animosity between him and EJ.  And again, Marlena/Belle were great. Scenes like theirs really seem to be commonplace under Paula/Jeanne and I couldn’t be happier that they are. It’s helps us get a much better understanding of these characters and why they do the things that they do and feel the way that they feel. Marlena supporting Belle was a bit of surprise, considering her insane reaction when she walked in on EJ and Belle, but I also feel that it’s totally in character for her, both as a psychiatrist and as Belle’s mother.  As for Sophia and Amy… I miss the first Sophia lol but I can’t help but think that Amy suddenly being so nice is foreshadowing of something. Either that, or Paula/Jeanne aren’t biased against her
    • @alwaysAMC Great mini-review as always.  That Gilly story is...certainly one I could not forget... I imagine a number of viewers were shocked with the temporary recast. It was revealed in the soap magazines, as was the news about Frank Beaty's breakdown, I think. I think Wolf had some statements or an interview at the time but very little. I wish someone could interview him. He did a good job under extremely tough circumstances.  For some reason I have a vague memory of him in the Marian getup but that's probably not right.  I'm glad you have appreciated the material with Susan after a shaky start. I always enjoyed her, and she was the only love interest I liked Nick with.

When Doug died on May 1st, 1989, it was a huge loss to the show, the other actors & also to the fans.
