I can tell Lorraine Broderick loves writing for Julia Barr at AMC. Her writing always more respectful under L.B.

My favorite soap writers are Lemay, Labine, Curlee, Swajeski, Hurst, Mulcahey, the Dobsons, Marland, Val Jean, CCulliton, Falken Smith, Bell, Nixon & Phillips. That's 15. I like writers. So sue me.

You notice I'm sure that half are deceased: Lemay, Labine, Bridget Dobson, Marland, Falken Smith, Bell, Nixon & Phillips.

Living but either retired or thought to be retired: Nancy Curlee, Donna Swajeski, Jill Lorie Hurst, Jerome Dobson, Carolyn Culliton, Patrick Mulcahey.

That only leaves Michele Val Jean who as we know has the newest of new gigs possible! #BTG #BeyondtheGates Headwriter & Show Creator & EP & ShowRunner!

I'm SO excited for her!

When Texas  ended, Gail Kobe and Pam Long were hired at  Guiding Light in the same roles. Several Texas actors appeared shortly after Long began writing the show; Jay Hammer, James Rebhorn, Harley Jane Kozak, and Michael Woods were all cast in new roles on Guiding Light.

Was it Kobe and Long who also brought Texas actors Jerry Lanning and Lisby Larson to Guiding Light?

1. Katherine Kelly Lang - his favorite of all time. Nobody can tell me otherwise.

I'm not so sure about this anymore. Not after the way he's been writing for Brooke recently.
