Disney+: Marvel’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

While Disney/Marvel haven’t publicly released the trailer yet, one was screened at yesterday’s D23 celebration. The show premieres in March 2025 on Disney+.

    I need to finally finish the last Netflix season.

    I've always been a big DD fan from the comics and the show, but I'm pretty MCU'ed out at this point. I've heard sketchy things about how they handle the Netflix supporting cast here but we'll see how it goes. I'll try it out of my love for Matt Murdock.

    Kevin Feige had the entire production redone, so most of what was originally shot was thrown away. In the original draft of what was shot, they didn’t even have any of the supporting cast from the Netflix show and apparently the full Daredevil costume didn’t have an appearance until the 4th episode (come on now!). 

    What they’re releasing is a totally retooled production that’s more of a continuation of the Netflix show (which Feige didn’t control, his nemesis Ike Perlmutter did). I think the changes that were made were the right ones, and I’m hopeful this will be good.

    FINALLY started it. I'm liking it, but that opening was brutal and I'm already annoyed at the writers for it. But I still need to finish Season 3 as well tbf. Hopefully it pops up on my system before I finish the inevitable rewatch of Season 1 and 2 I know I will be doing since I turned my co-worker onto the show since her man from HART OF DIXIE (and Ryder from Y&R) is the villain that season. 

     

    And seeing Antonio from OLTL in one of his final roles in Episode 2...be steal my heart. God, he still has such presence.
