Agreed.

I like the storyline but it happened too soon after Fiona’s debut. We should have gotten to know more about Fiona first and then Sarah’s accident could have happened a little later.

And one thing at least, we haven’t gotten stupid, campy Brigadoon jokes

I like Fiona, but Kristen's motives make no sense.

She towed the car so that Rachel wouldn't have a parent in prison?

  1. The kid's already had a parent in prison (her mother).
  2. Brady would not return the favor.

Also, can I get a full headcount for who is living in the Kiriakis mansion (because I always confuse it with the Dimera flophouse)? Maggie, Bonnie, Justin, Holly, Sarah, Xander, Victoria, and Fiona?  I know Alex moved out.  Then at the Dimeras we've got, EJ, Kristen, Rachel, Johnny, Chanel, Chad, and faux-Abby?

It is a shame that they hooked up Fiona and Brady so quickly, because a Bonnie/Justin/Fiona triangle would've been more age appropriate and in-keeping with Justin and Victor's history of trading partners.

Who's Larry?

Too bad we didn’t get any follow up with Tate absorbing the news about Brady’s arrest. I hate when Days does things like that.

It could have really elevated today’s episode, which was a little boring.

But there were some good scenes though, particularly Chad/Thomas. I love the relationship that they have. They really are believable as father and son.

Mark and Felicity were also pretty believable as brother and sister as well. I liked their scenes today too, even though it’s too bad that Mark’s probably gonna get ruined. I’m still interested in the storyline of him and NotAbigail and why they’re doing this, but at the same time, I also feel like Mark is another character with a lot of potential that’s being wasted.

Connie/Melinda is still FF material.

And I really don’t like that Gabi is being so easily swayed by Connie. She’s a lot smarter than that. Btw, wtf was that nonsense of Gabi splitting up the rooms in half? That was a stupid thing to write.

It's a bit unclear, but I am pretty sure the kids are still living at the Horton house while Chad/Abby are temporarily staying at the mansion.  I don't think Chad wants to live in mansion forever and the end goal is for them all to live back at the Hortons.

Now the big question: are they all ensuites or are Chanel and Kristen sharing a bathroom?

I assume Abby and Gabi aren't sharing, since they just introduced themselves today.

What am I saying? Nobody in the soap universe goes to the loo unless they are taking a bubble bath.  How else could Melinda be tied to a bed for two days and still be wearing her pantsuit?

Also, doesn't feel much more natural for Chanel and Gabi to work together, rather than suddenly making her a soap star?  Chanel is fashionable, ambitious, and young.   She should be All-about-Eveing Gabi all the way to the top.

Damn… I thought we were getting a week without Body&Soul. The fact that it only appeared briefly in todays episode is a good thing though, but it does kinda have me dreading next week lol

So… Gabi/EJ?

Idk. I don’t mind it but I just don’t know lol I think we all expected this though. There’s no one else they could pair EJ with. I liked the way the tension was built up between them today. That’s how you build tension, unlike with that Alex/Chanel crap from last week or whatever. At the same time, I felt they kind of rushed it though. They should have had EJ give in a later time, instead of immediately after Gabi approached him. Sort of like with Drew/Willow on GH; you build it up so that it’s more believable and to also have the fans watching, waiting and hoping for it. I am interested in where they’re all going to go from here though. And I still think Connie’s part in it was unnecessary.

Btw, Stephanie’s shoe box apartment got a renovation. It doesn’t look that good though. That green paint… Pass And I hope we, someday, find out the reason why the Bobby-Everett storyline was ended so abruptly. I have an idea but I’d like to know the truth.

I am ashamed to tell you all here that I have the same circular green vase with the fake dried grass flowers that Stephanie does in my home.  It's Amazon so Days and I have the same budget.

Anyhow, I thought EJ/Gabi was a bit of a surprise.  I mean, it makes sense when I think about it, but I wasn't expecting it.

Why is this Connie story dragging on?  Why is she telling Melinda about all her crimes?  Why doesn't she just kill Melinda and leave town?

It's also strange Stephanie has to organize Bobby/Everett's funeral.  Are his parents dead?  Did he have no friends in Seattle?  No coworkers?

    • I have no idea why Gio would go to Sonny first since he told Emma he thought Sonny knew about him all along. Maybe to clarify if Sonny knew?  Considering Sonny didn't know Dante was his son back then it doesn't really matter. I am sure Sonny will make some wise parallel about his father leaving and his mother dying or being lied to by Olivia and Gio will see the light.
    • I know I have heard Orpheus mention it, at least in passing.  I still don't know why exactly he hates John though.  It seems Orpheus was heavily leaning into a Stefano moment of Marlena obsession, but then he always wanted to murder her a bunch so it's unclear.
    • I always thought that whoever pitched his return story in 2016 just didn't do their homework, and didn't know that the real Roman was the one who killed Orpheus' wife.
    • Xander is Victor's son, but thought he was his nephew until Victor's will.  His mom is an alcoholic who ran Sarah down then left town.  He's got a kid with Sarah and then is related to the rest of the Kiriakis brood. I would argue Orpheus lost his purpose years ago.  I lost the plot with Orpheus when his entire beef was with John and not Roman.  The person who actually killed his wife. Too be kind I'll just say it looks like Chandler was a bit out of practice at the old acting game.  He's never stopped smirking.
    • He is Victor's son so Bo and Philip are his brothers and Brady and Shawn are his nephews. Justin has remained his first cousin

    • -- I didn't want to be the first person to mention it, because I've complained so much about Chandler Massey's smirking and grinning in the past. He just cannot get through a scene without breaking -- that grin broke through every time he ran into another character today. He looks young -- and good -- but I am not a fan of this acting. He's not trying. -- I agree with others here about this goodbye. The bandaged John is a throwback and a full circle moment, but it's gone on too many days already. I especially hate the "He's getting better" stuff. That doesn't work since we all know how this ends. -- I'm glad to see the return of all these characters and I love the flashbacks, but I think DAYS could have done all that without the bandaged exit.
    • That's the one thing I really dislike about all this. Orpheus should not be alive.  If anything, I hope he's erased from existence from here on. He has no purpose now that John is dead.
    • Yeah, it's so undignified. And looked it! But man, you can tell Stephen Nichols, etc. are not acting. They should've canned the fake voice guy at the very least. Great, now I have to try to remember who the fúck Xander is related to.
    • I am the first to say I don't have the perfect scenario for John's death in my head.  I think it would have had something to do with saving the world from Orpheus and killing Orpheus once and for all, but losing his own life in the effort. I am actually sad Orpheus is still alive and well doing dastardly deeds.  I GET the saving Bo idea.  I just am not sure I want to say, "Oh, yeah, John died in a meth lab.  Some kid attacked him and he burned to death" I love all the actors coming back to pay tribute.  It's lovely.  I think it would have been smarter for Marlena, Kayla, etc to say this is grave for John-it's time to say goodbye.  Not add in all the "he's doing great and on the road to recovery".  I assume it's a nod to Drake about always fighting, but, man, if you didn't know Drake had passed the rug would be pulled out from under you next week as an audience member.
