Is Poplar Bluff the new Turkey?

Do I need to go to Montana for all of my plastic surgery needs?  Because if those are the results, the doctors there are very talented.

Also, Clyde and Goldman have been locked up for weeks, so who is feeding Abby?

Yes, in theory, but the actress appears to be of Asian descent so no lol.

The elaborateness of her hairstyle today was epic.  It reminds me of GH's Lisa.  The more evil Brianna Brown's character got the more elaborate the hairstyle.

I choose to believe she just realized Holly is the worst and also stupid and is disappointed she spent so much time being her friend.

I’ve come around to RSW’s Alex but I wouldn’t mind a recast either. Who do you think would be good?

Freddie Smith and Zach Tinker seemed to fall into that category as well.

All the more reason they should have gone with my idea of Sophia dropping by the cabin a lot while Holly was at work, and building some kind of thing between her and Tate

It could’ve given Sophia more depth and more notes to play

Last I heard, he had a full time job in Atlanta, so if anything, we’d probably just get visits from him.

First off, I gotta say, no Chanel. Soaps do not need a character like Connie to stir things up. She and Johnny deserved a lot better than what they got today. Btw, they’re both over the miscarriage already? Just like that?

The Gabi/Ava scene was pretty good… until the end. I was really starting to get the impression that Gabi somehow figured out that Stefan slept with Ava and keeping it a secret from them. But sadly, I was proven wrong… by Connie.

I liked the Alex/Stephanie scene as well. It was nice seeing them just having fun and getting all the anger out about Theresa and Everett. But I also saw it as more evidence that RSW should be playing the villain, not the romantic lead.

Btw, I’ve never seen glass that didn’t shatter all over the place when you slammed it hard on the ground

Deidre Hall is another person who is guilty of infusing her own personal style into Marlena, and has done so more in the past few years than when she returned in 2011.

Oh, absolutely. They're definitely trying to allow Mansi the chance to personalize and characterize Kristina, and it makes sense. They're likely want her to stick around, etc. and make it a worth-while experience for her.

Why humiliating and embarrassing? I've seen nothing but positive reception for her in the role overtime. The only thing embarrassing must be the wig(s) she was forced to wear that looked fake AF.

I hate him with a fiery passion, so I'd be happy come April 2025 to not have to endure him ever, ever again. He's a horrid actor who thinks to high of himself.

Well, truthfully, there are multiple reasons for that. Both in terms of Sonny's job status and Freddie Smith's obvious weight fluctuation (which isn't a negative on him). I've been there and continue to do that.

That's not what I've seen. I've seen a lot of overwhelming negative reaction in numerous online forums and also on social media, including Twitter and Instagram, regarding not only the horrible wig that Emily had to wear, but also the horrible writing and characterization for Theresa. I hate to say it but this version of Theresa really flopped hard as a character and it would be better for her to stay off-screen for a while, at least until the memory of this latest horrible storyline isn't so prominent and vivid in people's minds and they can move on from it. I hope one day she can return as either Jen Lilley or an actual proper recast that can truly convey the essence of her character without any stupid blonde wig or anything. There are plenty of actresses in their 30s that can take on that role; they don't have to rely solely on Emily especially when there could be better options out there.

I've seen positive reception for O'Brien's work⏤again, I'm speaking of O'Bren, not Theresa as a character (which you remain fixated on), despite the horrid writing, etc. And she is a fine actress who did the best she could in a shït situation with shït scripts, both during a strike period and after.

I want to give DH a pass because she deserves to wear anything she pleases at this point.  Some of the stuff she wears is just so ugly and unflattering.  She still looks great and has a fabulous figure, but I doubt anyone on Days would tell her what to do.

Mansi is a case where the actress gives a character a sense of style.  I can't really recall how Lexi was dressed, but Mansi's Kristina has a modern, relaxed, but trendy look that really fits how she portrays Kristina.  The opposite of VK's take on dressing Ciara.

I think O'Brien is quite good.  I hated both characters.  It's not her fault.  I think GR is a good actor too.  It's not entirely his fault Leo is the worst.  He is just playing what it written.  Same with EOB

Oh, they wouldn't dare, unless it's an event and Marlena is needed in a dress... but those scenes seem limited. And it kind of feels the same for the likes of Genie Francis & Melody Thomas Scott.

Ainsworth did a lot of maxi dresses and maxi-like tops with skinny jeans.

Mansi, to me, has a more modern take on Kristina.

Both O'Brien & Greg Rikaart are good actors... but got saddled with roles that... shouldn't have existed (Gwen for O'Brien).

And yeah, agreed that Dante having animosity towards Gio is very forced and contrived. And it also has me concerned that it means the reveal won't be happening anytime soon.
    • God, I love that woman. Another amazing interview!!
    • We can only guestimate based on other characters. Chelsea was said to be 23 in the first episodee and based on Marttin wanting to run for President in the next election, he's about 30/31. Eva and and Kat are somewhere between that  so Id say closer to 25 or 26
    • no argument here! and as she was singing, i kept wondering how many verses ‘amazing grace’ had. looked it up: 13 — 13! — and i think she must have sung  every one.
    • Yasss, ANITA!!! GET HER!!!   Awww at Smitty calming Martin down.   'Oh, you're the one leaving.' That face like stone. Go 'head, Nicole.    Eva vs Kat...the gift that keeps giving.
    • I have to admit I still have a nagging complaint about timelines - Why aren't we allowed to know how long Ted and Nicole have been married or how old Kat and Eva are? Or for that matter, when Anita last released an album? BTG is a new show with no SORAS or timewarping. MVJ and Guza are working from a fresh bible. There is no need to be so coy about ages and anniversaries, especially when most of the storylines are driven by past events.
    • It was an extremely rare interview even then - I was shocked when I read it (as mentioned I'd forgotten just how far in she went). You could see how hurt and annoyed she was. I'm surprised he thought she came up with the baby story herself. She and Charles Keating did a good job with the material but it was absolute hokum. Even if they loved Carl and Rachel (and clearly they did), I don't see them coming up with stuff that, frankly, read like Geocities fan fic. Malone was clearly hobbled by NBC and P&G, but re-using so many of his old stories and his soap bible instead of actually coming up with material suited to the characters or show did not help. It was also fascinating reading her comments about Rachel being in her, fighting back against the writing, and how she had to try to mediate. Reminds me of Marie Masters talking about how hard it was to say goodbye to Susan when she'd been with her for 40 years. That subject is always compelling, that duality. And it reminds me of Eddie Drueding's comments a year or two earlier about Rachel losing her drive. Clearly Victoria saw her the same way.
    • Seeing this trash get good ratings says nothing good about daytime audiences. It's embarrassing.
    • Cat does feel committed to being a goofball (the other term has been reconsidered in recent years).  I wonder, given her brother Aaron, if Cat was less attractive prior to the surgery?  Remember the 1973 movie The Girl Most Likely to?  My fanfic for the moment is Cat commenting on how people treat her differently now that she is gorgeous.  One assumes that pre-surgery, Cat never had two men fighting over her for a date.  So, it might be fun to see that side of the story.
    • It's probably one of the only conflicts the story will have, aside from Dante being upset with Lulu when the truth comes out. They really needed someone else who actually knows Gio is Dante and Brook Lyn's son and kept quiet.
