She needs to see him massaging Hope's hands. If my husband did this, I would throw him out like a dirty dog.

Massaging your wife's rival's hands is worse than f-cking her. That sh-it is romantic and disturbing to do with other women.

The scenes between KKL and AN have been quite good. I love how Hope is a saying it without saying it: 'Mom, I'm acting like you and it's makes me sick!' At the same time, Brooke knows this. KKL does a great job communicating that with her delivery and expressions.

Does Finn know about Steffy kissing Liam? If not, it's another example of the faux Forrester superiority.

I've always like the concept of STEAM, but the execution sometimes fails - like now. Emasculating Finn is a terrible way to go. Finn was the victim of a crime. It's like when women were blamed for attacks because they wore sexy clothes. Finn groveling ''I should've listened to you, Mommy' is gross.

Finn and STEAM would be better served by having Finn stand his ground on certain issues: 'Sheila's my bio mom and if I want to forgive her, that's my choice. Oh, and Eric casually mentioned that you shot Sheila in that hotel room, but she chose not to report you. Call it even and move on.'

My girl Steffy is always ordering or berating Finn for something.  I get she's upset, but an entire episode running her mouth?  Unleash that anger on someone else, girlfriend.

Saw no chemistry between Budig and Kaye.  Sigh.

Yes. I also don't see any chemistry with the rest of the cast. None with Ridge. And absolutely none with her so-called daughter Steffy. They don't have a mother-daughter chemistry, more like sisters that don't really like each-other.

I can't wait to see her with KKL though, the age difference and height difference will look hilarious. When in fight it will look like Brooke is bullying a teen.  And that is supposed to be the woman that has been her rival for the last 34 years.

BTW the negative reaction to the new Taylor has been universal. Under Bold's instagram clips pretty much everyone is saying the don't buy this Taylor and that it doesn't work. I remember quite the opposite phenomenon when Krista premiered. Bradley must be fuming seeing how once again he is failing.

And the sheer hilarious aspect that it's the 64 year old who is still going to be parading around in lingerie and acting like the Bedroom queen, while this... younger 40ish looking woman is going to be the prude telling her it's not right and that she doesn't have morals... is like an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Bradley likes to do this. It's his modus operandi, to give actors storylines and archetypes that are wrong for them. He thinks he is being original.

I also feel bad for KKL in a way. Just the first 7 years of Bold by Bill Bell her character had 10299010 times more character development than what Bradley's done with her in 30 years. Brooke is a caricature at this point.

I feel bad for all of them really. They are all capable of more, which is apparent when they, on rare occasions, do get better material. I don't think it would take too much for a talented writer to turn this show around. The problem is that Brad Bell is in charge and he's not likely to give that up, even though whatever talent he once possessed (if any) is long gone.

If a proper writer took on this show, just basing on the sheer amount of acting talent and the classic structure-theme of fashion and Beverly hills, Bold could become number 1 soap. I truly believe this. I guess the only chance we have is if Bradley's age gets to a point where he no longer can write. I don't want to wish this to him, so I just... accept that it's probably never gonna happen.

    • The Saturday 8pm slot usually had the lowest rating of the NBC 4 sitcom lineup for some reason. NBC let Saturday night fizzle, They used 9.30 pm to launch 227 and Amen, both of which moved to earlier in the evening but they  kept Empty Nest following GG for several seasons.  Empty Nest should have moved to 8pm with their strongest new sitcom at 9.30, anticipating that GG would eventually falter. Instead they left them there and stretching the sitcom pool too thinly on other nights. When Grand talk over at 9.30 Thurs maybe Night Court and Wings could have been used on Saturday.
    • @Maxim Great to see your mini-reviews again. There are a number of clips on Youtube of Janice's slow mental breakdown. Christine Jones is just superb. She played the hell out of that role. Something which isn't referenced as much later on is how Mitch pushed Janice's doubts and mental instability for his own ends...until suddenly he didn't want to anymore (I guess he caught on with the audience and the show became wary). I don't want to post a bunch of clips, but this one has a very good confrontation between Rachel and Janice.

    • It really made Oscar the Doorman seem like an imbecile.   I think the show's unusual format & subject manner is what makes EON often seem less "dated" and "old-fashioned" than other shows from that time period.  It never attempted to be especially "trendy" or "modern" -- and its film noir style is pretty timeless.
    • Dallas, Dynasty, Knots and Falcon Crest all had good runs but by 85 they had seen better days. I think they were a victim of the format. After several seasons seeing the same characters front and center viewers were bored. What was once fascinating grew predictable. JR, Alexis etc had to be front and center and after a while their schemes and shtick grew repetitive. JR remarrying Sue Ellen, Alexis constantly trying to get he better of Blake etc Unlike daytime, there wasn't the flexibility to bring in other stories and characters and maybe let the likes JR go backburner. That same mentality also invaded daytime with characters like  Sonny and Victor still peddling the same stuff after decades. I guess the same could be said for MSW eg every week Jessica encounters a crime and solves it,but I think viewers come to that format with a different mindset.
    • Daphnee and Trisha did a live stream on Instagram and confirmed they find out if the show gets picked up in May. This pretty much confirms they're on the primetime schedule like the Bell soaps. Fingers crossed we get a multi-year renewal announcement soon!  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJSsYb7PDv8/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
    • I don't think Lois the character was there.  The Lois we knew from the 90s has pretty much died with this  Gio story crap.
    • Have to agree re MM. The goody two shoes character and writing doesn't help but maybe a more dynamic actor would help Brandon lift his game also. I found the song sequence a little OTT. First of all it should have been shorter and maybe the song fades out and just some music to accompany the montage. I think it would have worked better if Anita had have been alone after everyone left and started tinkling leading into the song, with Vernon coming in observing and then joining her for  a close moment. Everyone standing around felt a little too much. And that closing effect with the two blackscreens meeting was unnecessary. Just a fade out would have been enough.

    • And sadly I think that’s the trivia Both Jeanne Cooper and Eric Braeden went with for years and years. Lol
    • But people were hating so bad on amc and the final year and the ratings sucked. Business wise they made the right call. Oltl who even gained some ratings back and weren’t they higher as GH at one point is a decision and never understood.
