Probably also the ones who think the T-Rex and other dinosaurs were on the Ark. (no joke, there are some homeschool communities that sell Children's Books on that theme).

You know GTQ, I'd even be okay with forgetting Skye's role in that (it was during the Scabs, so it's not something Guza probably wants to revisit - the heart attacks are barely talked about as Luke drinks and smokes away) I just REALLY, TRULY don't want another Luke's infatuation at Tracy's expense.

BTW, anyone who likes Ethina (and I know it's pushing it give what Krissy did) but Ethan called her "baby" today when he was helping her. I though that a nice touch seeings how Luke calls Tracy that so much.

Okay, briefly towards the last 20 minutes of the show Tracy comes into the Star talking about what a great take they had that night. Luke agrees but Tracy knows something is off. Luke then says it was easier when he was an island with no one to think about than himself. Trace presses a bit and he tells her about the Kristina incident and how she's been stalking Ethan, and how that little girl is going to cause major problems for his son - he knows it. Later they talk on it a bit more and Luke says he's got to let his adult son figure out how to handle things - he's off to a meeting in Vegas in the morning. The last scene had Ethan back at the bar getting a drink, Tracy walks in and chuckles how much Ethan is like Luke then sees the scratch on his face. She asks him what that's about and he makes a comment to the effect that that's what you get when you try to be a Good Samaritan.

It's interesting how they are playing it. Ethan and Luke got an eyeful of how screwed up Kristina is, while Sam got an eyeful of broken Kristina. Then Ethan finds her and isn't bothered by her reaction to scratch him, he just picks her up (calls her Baby - which I just loved), grabs her jacket and takes her to GH. There while Lucky is getting some information, Ethan says he's glad he followed his instincts because she would have been like that for some time. Back at the HS with Tracy, Ethan is obviously wrecking himself about his anger towards Kristina earlier considering what shape she was in when he found her, but at the same time the "hero" stuff doesn't sit well with him.

I can't wait to see how things play out over the next few days with Mama in charge and Daddy in Vegas.

We knew that was coming. The thing was spoilers said Dante talked Sonny down - it didn't mention Trucky being involved. I hope this is indicative of the entire story - that's it's not the Sonny/Sam obsessive thing some spoilers have made it out to be.

I saw Luke coming to Sonny in his place twice, right? I saw he had the leather on and then no leather on. Why don;t they shoot the idiot already and not try to talk him down, geez.

Well Sonny is such a thoughtless hothead that it's going to take more than one round to talk him down - and it's anyone's guess what it will take to actually get through to him.

Yup. Even if Tracy isn't 100% convinced, she's not about to admit that to Alexis.

I wonder if anyone will bring up the fact that Kristina Davis used to be Kristina Ashton???? That's a connection I'd love to see explored. What would she be like now if Sonny never found out?

    • Her description was a bit off but it was 52 years ago so we can give her a pass.
    • Oh. Ok. I just looked at the article. Thanks. Perhaps they changed Jack's name to Stuart, added a daughter and had them all have different hair colors.
    • Thank you. That's what I thought because of the year but who was "Jack with the three blonde daughters"?
    • You can watch it here without an app: https://www.cwtv.com/shows/tv-we-love/dynasty/
    • There are so many beats that could be played with relationships and history b/w  characters. But cast/set restrictions (and loust writing) are destroying that. Really liked seeing Jack and Nikki catch up. Trouble is, in the current version of Y&R it had to continue the entire episode. Hearing Lily talk on the phone to Maddie-how much better if we had actually seen the kids during Cane's return. Would the original actors return for a short stint? Maybe not and perhaps they don't feel a recast would work. All of this could have been avoided by letting BF be a new character. For the amount of difference it's made , there was really no need to bring back Cane.
    • Zeman said Marland created Barbara Jean Spencer, they called her Barbara until she and Monty decided Bobbie would be better as a nickname. It was almost Barbie IIRC, and they didn’t think that was right. She also has said on more than one occasion that she came in during the transition and Monty didn’t hire her, but ended up liking her. So Scotty and his friend must have been talking about her. This episode was fascinating. I am so happy it was shared. I can absolutely see why the show was in trouble. It’s lifeless and old fashioned as far as dialogue and some of the staging. Monty herself said she threw those episodes out, so that makes me think they were even worse. Which really made sense to me watching this because I only saw a glimpse of Monty in the less static scene with Rick moving all around while talking to David and the same type of staging with Scotty, Laura, and his friend’s name I cannot remember right now. That long ass scene through Monica’s eyes was very old fashioned as far as style. I can also see why the ratings started rising relatively quickly. Most of the earliest Monty shows I have seen are a few months later, and the show is very different. It moves, the characters are more intense, the staging has movement, and it feels more modern for the time. By the time you get to 1979 it’s really rocking and I totally get it in a way I didn’t before just from seeing this. Genie was so young to play that story with creepy Hamilton. And Kin sure was cute as nice guy Scotty.
    • Kate previously shadow directed or directed some scenes? on Days before GH, so it's been a passion of hers for a bit.
    • Who is monitoring her spending? Maybe the upshot is that Leslie is spending way beyond her means and she'll end up broke again. The house will be repossessed etc, Part of her comeuppance.
    • Kimberly McCullough shadowed at GH and completed an ABC directing program, but I don’t believe she was ever credited as director or given an episode of her own to do. One of the reasons why she got work so quickly was because she had multi-cam knowledge from years on soaps.
    • Do not apologize for this. I was thinking just today it's bringing me fond memories of when I was a teen of Angie and Jessie. Jenny and Greg, Philip and Beth. And although they were teens, Steve and Betsy.  I like a good teen story.
