That would work. Make all the cuts where the dialogue should go, insert the dialogue, then play with the "ends" of the music strings and the dialogue strings (bring the music slowly down and the dialogue slowly up. Can you "cross" - mix - the strings even on one channel? Sounds like you've done that in there a couple times).

As for Sony Vega... don't know anything about it. I really think you should invest in a Powerbook and Final Cut Express. Really! (Guess what Lainey hopes to get with her tax rebate money?!?! A Powerbook with Final Cut, Aperature, which is a photo program, and PhotoShop!! Hopefully! Hopefully!)

That said, you are WAY advanced beyond one channel. Your brain doesn't think that way anymore. I can tell. It is DEFINITELY time to move to a multi channel program. DEFINITELY. You will LOVE the freedom it gives you to putz with audio. What you tried to do now will still take time, but you will REALLY LOVE the results. Promise. Also, Vega probably has a lot more video effects

MsQ, your vid is so fabulous and awesome that those words don't even begin to articulate it!

I'm really looking forward to this week.

Here's to hoping no scenes are cut and we get lots of LuNacy love!

I can, but it will just let me "cross" once per music clip. If I try to do it again, it rearranges itself so that it's music, dialogue, dialogue and then nothing ends up merged. That's why I want to try cutting the music in several spots, slide the dialogue over it, and then merge the end of music clip "a" with the start of music clip "b." So, what you get is the line of music with the dialogue placed in the center of it without any abruptions. I am hoping that makes sense. LOL. Maybe I should just buy Sony Vegas with the money my wonderful grandmother gave me for Xmas - haha.

Lisa, you said Sony Vegas was an awesome program, right? I bet it doesn't freeze like WMM either. <_<

angel, thanks! Since you're off for another week (like me - yay), is it too much to hope you have a video or 2 in the making? ;)

remos, glad you enjoyed the Q vid. :)

hooked, welcome home. :) MegaUpload has a 60 day limit, so the link shouldn't be expired. And even after 60 days, if there are enough hits, it will still work. The file is probably just temporarily unavailable and should be up again soon.

angel, yay! I'm so excited. :)

I am considering downloading a trial version of Sony Vegas for the recent LuNacy video - Still not sure if I'll end up buying it though 'cause what happens if I do stop creating videos (whether it's because JE and or TG leave in the near future or I get wrapped up in work again or another reason)? Guess we'll see...

There was a quick soaps Q&A in the National Ledger yesterday that had quotes from JE. They're probably old (I've seen her make similar comments before), but figured I'd post the link anyway.

Survived the inlaws. Now I just have to make it through this truncated work week. But the big day is Tuesday for us, so hurrah!

Incidentally, I'm a bit miffed that Monica got left off that poll. I voted for our girl but didn't place a second vote in protest.

Thanks for those Halee! Can't wait to watch you clipping queen!

Thanks for the article Star--funny that they are still quoting JE about her kids when that had to be years and years ago.

Ms. Q--I still can't get that megaupload link to work...Halee did you have clips from last W and TH show (I guess from the week of the 15th) What days was Tracy on? Only W and TH?

Could someone upload them onto sendspace for me if they have them? Whenever they have the chance?

Quote it all you want. It's a perfect way to end the year that hasn't been great for our couple.

I'll have the keyboard all warmed up for tomorrow, believe me. ;)

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
    • I was really starting to enjoy it, but after Anspach, Shelton and Keane left, it got a bit blah to watch. Jane Russell was great as Rose, Buddy Ebsen as Toat was interesting as well.  If a second season were in the cards, I would have signed  Karen Carlson on to a contract and cast a couple more women as regulars. The cowboy aspect could continue. Sam Elliott, as always, was fantastic,  The camaraderie between Roy and Quisto was really good as well. Cybill... she was sex on a stick and unapologetic.   Poor Robin Wright barely lasted five minutes, though, before being raped and murdered.
    • I love it that we've gone from daylight to dark -- Luna's even returned to work -- but Steffy is still sitting next to shirtless Finn on the sofa.

    • Is the current DiMera mansion the same mansion Stefano moved into around 1983?  I remember that house was out near a lake, and not far from Doug Williams' night club.  In fact, there was a tunnel connecting Doug's Place to the DiMera mansion.  If it supposed to be the same house, I'm fairly sure it is not the same set.  But I'm aware sometimes soap opera sets change without any explanation
    • Amazing work @slick jones I remember watching and enjoying Yellow Rose but losing interest once they went to self contained episodes, Interestingly that's the opposite of what Dallas, KL and FC did. So maybe YR should have been more episodic at first and then go to a fully fledged serial. But really the timeslot was the problem -Sat @10 was not the spot for a serial. And Rounders turned out to be a poor lead in. Maybe 9-11 Tues following A Team would have helped.
    • LOL!!! He looks like he is reacting as if Luna just passed bad gas or something.
    • Doug Marland came on board shortly before Gloria Monty, I believe. Jackie Smith was in charge of ABC daytime at that point. All of the characters in place were not his creations. Alan was created by Irving and Tex Ellman who wrote the hurricane story a few months before and brought in Alan, Scotty, David Hamilton, Dorrie and Lisa/Lana. His first character was  Bobbie in Jan 78. Apart from wrapping up the Lan/Lisa story he pretty much kept all the stories going just adding new elements.
    • She is 29... she's inching closer, and we know how important age is on soaps.

    • When I saw that look on Will's face, I thought, "Yeah, there's no one on set giving direction to Crew Morrow. There's no one giving notes." His dad Josh was green when he started, but not this green.
