I'm going to give DAYS two episodes for prom, no more than that.  The average viewer is, (how do I say this kindly?) mature.  I don't want to see a bunch of kids figuring out their first kiss.  Let's get back to the good stuff.

And, g%$ help us if we get another teen pregnancy.  Sometimes I think soap writers are too caught up in writing morality tales.  It is OK for a couple to have casual sex.  We don't need to punish female characters for being lustful by saddling them with an infant.

That being said, why are there more adults than teens at this prom?

Ron isn't as bad as FV with keeping characters/actors way too long.  He just favors the wrong characters (Leo).  I question his taste level a lot.  I don't necessarily think he's doing BB or GR solids because he's friends with them as I think FV did with Roger and currently Michael Easton.  I genuinely think Ron thinks Leo is hilarious and Stefan is a good grey character.  

 

I firmly believe that Leo is Ron Carlivati. That's why he isn't going anywhere.

Hopefully Aaron will be recast.

Poor Aaron actor, we've judged him & found him lacking.

I am convinced that Ron has NO TASTE. Plus, yes, he thinks Leo is hilarious. No comment about Porn Stache. 

If we could only put together the good things about certain PTB.

I'm pretty much expecting Tate and Holly to be having a baby by this time next year. I mean, what else are they going to do with them anyway? At least hopefully Theresa won't be around to be a horrible influence on people. 

Also, isn't anybody sick and tired of Theresa already? Why is Ron devoting so much screen time to such an unlikable and awful character like her and also expect us to even care who she even ends up with? Her downfall and exit date really cannot come soon enough for me!

I found it a bit creepy that Stefan and Mark Greene were just hanging out watching Holly/Aaron go to prom.  Neither were needed for the scene.

Marlena and Eric get more of a pass since Brady and Tate live in her house and she invited Eric over. 

I love how Sophia went from Holly's bff to an amateur Sami Brady overnight.  That was a quick evolution for the character lol.

Also, what was Brady wearing?  That was an awful blazer.

I hate teen pregnancy stories and honestly most pregnancy stories, but to be fair Days hasn't done one since Will/Gabi and that was a long time ago.

I guess Allie wasn't technically a teen, but I'd throw her into the punishing-women-thru-pregnancy syndrome.  Jada is the lone survivor, and she got punished by having to be bored to death by Rafe.  I mean, there's something in the water in Salem that causes women to just be constantly fertile.

I almost included Allie, but her story was a bit different and I think she was already over 21.  I actually think the idea of a party girl getting drunk, being raped and getting pregnant is interesting, but there wasn't any real fall out there.  She instantly loved being a mom and adapted just fine.

Poor Jada....she deserves better.

HUH? No fallout?!!! Incorrectly thinking Tripp was her rapist, also baby daddy! The whole DNA issue with it actually being his very good looking brother?! Plus, in the very early days, Allie couldn't deal with the baby. Nicole was literally functioning as the new infant's parent while halfway parenting Allie! Baby Henry at first to Allie was a huge reminder of her rape & that is all he was. Of course, it worked out fabulously but you are forgetting those early months. Pregnant Allie & new mom Allie, she was a real mess. Also, probably some of her best acting!
