Like...I can't.  You don't agree with me that's fine.  But personally attacking me about AZ's voting is just why?  She's an adult woman that has the right to decide how she wants to vote.   I have stated over and over again that's not my take.   But for real, for real it's not like AZ is a one women show putting Trump in office.  There's like so many layers to this and I rather talk about how CUTE Lani/Eli's twins are.

Eh, I can kind of see how her personality might sort of rub people the wrong way and she can be a bit much at times, but that's fine. At least from what I can see on her social media and interviews, she actually tries to be a decent human being and there are so many awful and horrible people in this world as is and she's a fresh breath of air in comparison.

And like I said before on another post, I don't think Theresa should be a long term character anyway, especially with the writing that she's been given as of late. She needs to appear for brief pop-in visits every once in a while and meddle in her son's love life.

Don't forget that she is also raising four young kids all under the age of 10, with her youngest being about 2-years-old.

It is not a very current reference, but after I Love Lucy, Lucille Ball played Lucy Carmichael, and Gale Gordon played Theodore Mooney aka Mr. Mooney, the manager of the bank where Lucy worked on The Lucy Show.

Meanwhile, we've never seen or heard from Rita, (EJ's secretary), since RonC returned.  Never mind Jen Lilley, #bringbackRita.  She was a hoot.

Rita's appearance was so random. I wonder if the scabs had some greater plan there? I thought her scenes with EJ felt very forced but I'm even more confused that there was no follow-up.

The Juneteenth stuff today was sweet, but it was tough to watch James Reynolds's hand shaking so badly as he pulled out his phone to read the phone. I'm surprised they didn't find an alternative to that (or, if you're going to show it, address it -- I know that can be difficult and sensitive when it's the actor's real life business, but there's an honesty and vulnerability in writing that stuff in, as well).

At the very least, Rita should've been the one to tell EJ that Kristen was voted in as CEO.

And given her exasperation over EJ, imagine how it might've been to watch her interact with Kristen.

I'm a big fan of soap's incidental characters like assistants, cooks, and housekeepers.  And now that they can allow more people to film to together, it would be nice to see more of those folks to fill in all the blank spaces in Salem.

BTW was Melinda the DA for two days in their universe's time?  I hope she's getting severance, and holiday pay, given that Paulina fired her on a federal holiday.  Of all the story corrections post strike, I'm surprised the RonC wanted to make sure that EJ was the DA again.  It was never a well considered plot point.

Gotta admit, I like the newbies… even though the actor playing Aaron still needs some work lol they’re all charming in their own ways.

And I guess they needed a new sweet, adorable doctor now that Tripp is gone.

They were all used pretty well today and I think it was a good idea to have Mark be the one who convinced Nicole to let Holly go to prom.  And an even better idea that Sophia overheard Tate’s intentions and tipped off Theresa. That could lead something good happening.

Still not sure about Leo Howard though. I don’t think he’s a bad actor but his Tate is just so different from what we’ve seen. I mean, this is the same kid that was just locked up in a halfway house? He seems too much like a frat boy… or a Ford brother lol

I still like the Tate/Holly/Aaron/Sophia quad though and I hope we see them a lot over the summer.

As for Stefan, he was just annoying today and needs to go away.

I wonder if they just hired Rita to fill space in scenes with EJ?  She was great, but I really think she was just meant to pad scenes for the day.  Otherwise, why drop her all together?

@AbcNbc247The boy that plays Aaron is rough lol. But he's kind of cute in a dorky way lol.  I imagine he'll be recast shortly.

Ew, I don't like Aaron at all!!!

So, what was that about with the show not ending with the usual do-to-do-do

musical phrase. Instead it ended with this song, "Show Me The Way To Your Heart!" I was amazed.

It was an okay day. I still really want to drop-kick Stefan into the next county but we're just going to have to put up with Little Porn Stache.

I think it's just a fact of life with this show that there's constantly going to be one or more characters that we're all sick to death of. I wonder why that is.

I'm tempted to say it's a Ron Thing. We should work on some canonical lists like What Are Real Ron Carlivati Things? #1 ... You think? Sounds like fun!!!

Aaron isn't that bad of a character lol.  Acting just might not be for him.

Ron isn't as bad as FV with keeping characters/actors way too long.  He just favors the wrong characters (Leo).  I question his taste level a lot.  I don't necessarily think he's doing BB or GR solids because he's friends with them as I think FV did with Roger and currently Michael Easton.  I genuinely think Ron thinks Leo is hilarious and Stefan is a good grey character.

    • I don't think they were the biggest factor, but I do think there's a specific style to Dano's work that wasn't helped by how pointless her character often felt (and later on the various writers clearly saw the character as a joke).
    • I think Evie came in mid 1976 after Rita broke up with Tim because she realized she was leading him on.  And Evie became upset with Rita because she didn't tell her that she had previously dated Tim before she came to town.
    • Please stop, you were wrong, and you know it, now you're trying to back pedal. You even got called out by the DAYS actors/actresses on Twitter for that sh*t. It was disgusting and vile and IMO the family should have taken action against you It was clear the general public did not know about his illness and it was NOT your place to "spill the beans" just because you run a Facebook group, period! TBH IMO @Errol should have banned you ages ago Donna
    • Who went bowling? JFP & Anna? Is there any more to this?
    • Another character driven show with interconnecting plots that make sense. I like that we go from one character, like Sarah, learning that EJ wants to buy the hospital, casually mentioning it to Xander who now has that intel. The only down today was not seeing Steve and Shawn breaking into the lab. I wonder if Dr Poofy Hair will inform EJ about Xander's call. I loved Abe talking to Chanel about losing Isaac and giving her comfort. And helping her voice her fears about Johnny. Kayla standing up to EJ is great. Kayla, freed from Ron, has been great. I am loving all her air time. And Sarah telling her that EJ must be up to something if he wants the hospital is very smart. She would probably clue in to the sepsis research being the big thing if she wasn't choking to death. I assume Felicity messed up the scones and dropped in cleaning fluid or something. Sarah said it tasted weird. They are never getting that honeymoon, are they? Xander has no clue what job Johnny can do. Johnny knows this too. Xander wants to legitimize his takeover by hiring a Dimera. Johnny wants to stick it to EJ. The honesty is refreshing. I want to like Cat and Chad but they are just so awkward. And none of their scenes work for me. Marlena and EJ was very good. I like her wanting to help him but also scared to death for Belle. Makes perfect sense that she is conflicted. I also liked her softly asking Johnny if he needed her to stay once EJ walked in. Ron never cared about this relationship either, but now she is acting like his granny.
    • Sorry, catching up, and the bolded part, yes! Should have been sued by DH's family for that nasty sh*t too   Anywho, back to the show, Kristina is freaking nuts, she needs to be committed ASAP
    • Angry Dante was hot; sorry, but I'm not going to pretend it wasn't awesome seeing Dominic Zamprogna act his ass off in a way that was not crying.
    • Thanks, interesting and so believable (no Lonatrat or Clones...)Instead of the Lewis family he should have made the Oil family Granger...even if the audience didn't remember that one off character it would have been interesting to tie it into the fictional GL world.
    • Dante needs stick removed from his butt
