Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to see more of some of the hottest men in daytime as they pose for an upcoming spread for PLAYGIRL.

In a dual post shared on the “Days of our Lives” and PLAYGIRL Instagram pages, along with other social channels on Wednesday, it was announced that actors from the daytime drama series, including Robert Scott Wilson (Alex Kiriakis), Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis), Christopher Sean (Paul Narita), Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) and Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton), had taken part in a recent spread that will be seen in an upcoming spring feature for the legendary magazine.

“Cooking up something epic with @katielevinephoto, @robertscottwilson and the hunks of @dayspeacock. Coming this spring! @paultelfer @mrchristophersean @ericmartsolf @bryan.dattilo,” read a caption on the post, which indicated that photographer Katie Levine was the one who took some steamy shots of Salem’s finest.

“Here goes nothin’,” responded Wilson to the Instagram post using the “smoking” and “embarrassment” emojis to indicate his nervousness. “Thank you for having me,” commented Christopher Sean of the experience.

“Y’all are not even ready for what we shot,” commented Levine in one of several posts on her Instagram story timeline. In another, she said, “Made magic with @playgirl @dayspeacock.” In a follow-up post, she said, “@robertscottwilson and I have been friends for almost a decade. We been manifesting a shoot like this since.”

If Levine’s name sounds familiar to soap fans, it’s because she’s the photographer behind a 2021 Paper Magazine recreation of the famous 1974 cover issue of Time magazine, which featured Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie Williams) and the late Bill Hayes (Doug Williams), who remain the first and only performers from a daytime drama series to have ever graced the magazine’s cover. In addition to recreating the famous pose made by Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes, Wilson and former co-star Victoria Konefal (ex-Ciara Brady) took shots in and around the show’s studio, including the iconic Horton set and the DiMera mansion, among other locations.

Preceding the upcoming issue of PLAYGIRL featuring the men of “Days of our Lives,” the magazine has previously featured several daytime hotties within its pages, including former soap stars Antonio Sabato Jr. (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “General Hospital”), Lorenzo Lamas (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), Marcus Patrick (“Days of our Lives”), Jean LeClerc (“All My Children”), Robert Kelkey-Kelly (“Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital”), Austin Peck (“Days of our Lives,” “As The World Turns”) and Jack Wagner (“General Hospital,” “Melrose Place”), among numerous other male specimen. Current soap stars Sean Kanan (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “General Hospital”), John J. York (“General Hospital”) and Steve Burton (“General Hospital,” “Days of our Lives”) have also posed for the magazine, albeit all professionally positioned so as not to show off certain assets.

History of PLAYGIRL

The magazine’s print edition, launched in 1973 during the height of the feminist movement, was discontinued as a monthly magazine in 2009. From 2010-2016, it transitioned to a quarterly before formally being discontinued as a print magazine in 2016.

In 2020, the magazine was relaunched as a print magazine by Jack Lindley Kuhns and then new editor-in-chief Skye Parrott. The magazine’s new iteration featured various male, female and non-binary gendered models throughout its pages. Despite the first print issue selling out fast, that era didn’t last long. By 2021, it was announced that a “new PLAYGIRL” was coming.

In May 2022, the magazine was relaunched as a digital edition, with membership starting at $12.95 per month or $99.95 per year to access the magazine’s archival and new material via the PLAYGIRL+ (playgirlplus.com) website, which features celebrity interviews, centerfolds, erotic fiction and original titillating articles. In addition, PLAYGIRL introduced a new “Man of the Month” series that showcases photosets and video interviews with some of today’s hottest up-and-coming male models. There is also an indication that material will be available on the magazine’s original website, playgirl.com, in the near future. A “coming soon” message appears on the website with several male models posing for images while wearing limited attire.

“We’re excited that PLAYGIRL finally has a place online that documents the rich and diverse history of the brand. The Hollywood elite which have graced our covers range from Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Redford, Jack Nicholson, Antonio Banderas, Rob Lowe, Richard Gere, Mark Wahlberg, Tom Selleck and Sylvester Stallone to Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Liza Minnelli and Jamie Lee Curtis,” the magazine said in a statement prior its relaunch.

    • Of course! It's a lot to compile, with every Tom, Dick, and Harry credited, but it's fun!

    • So far, Canada has been one day ahead for six episodes. @Toups @Errol  any official word on this? MVJ commented to a viewer on twitter:   from @iammskye1 I demand to be put in the same schedule with the Canadian #BeyondTheGates viewers. If that means dropping us two episodes in one day, one aired live and one on streaming, do what you gotta do, lol. They ain’t bout to be out here outdoing us.   Michele Val Jean @MicheleValJean June 2, 2025 I hate this too. It really screws with the way we construct reveals if one batch of viewers is ahead of the rest. Very frustrating. #BeyondThe Gates #BTG https://x.com/MicheleValJean/status/1929742526107603321   from @iammskye1  Thank you for acknowledging our pain.

Michele Val Jean @MicheleValJean June 2, 2025 And then there are spoilers and it really does spoil the reveal for those who haven’t seen it yet. sigh. #thanklessjob #BeyondTheGates #BTG https://x.com/MicheleValJean/status/1929744253829501104 -

    • I guess that's why I never could hate Drake Hogestyn or John Black so much that I wanted him off the show.  DH always came across (on screen and off) as the ultimate "team player," who never phoned it in or mistreated his colleagues or fans in any way.
    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.
