LYNN MARTIN WRITES HER FIRST "DAYS" SCRIPT...

Lynn Martin was credited with her first script today (November 11) on "Days of Our Lives." Martin started her daytime career writing for "The City" from 1996-1997. She then wrote for "Port Charles" in 1998; "Another World" 1998-1999; "As the World Turns" 1999-2005 and "The Young and the Restless" from 2018-2024. Martin was born in Washington, DC. She is married and has two daughters.

Interesting development!  If she was still on staff as a Co-HW, it wouldn't matter if she wrote that particular episode or not, she would still be listed.  If she's not listed again tomorrow, then it probably means she left the show (either fired or took a leave of absence).

If only Griffith was gone too so Ed Scott’s lavish production values could pay off decently told/written stories.

Also, it feels like Owen Renfroe and Sally McDonald (the best directors on the show and two of the best on daytime) are directing every episode now, with an occasional one from Nancy Ortenberg.

It looks like Eilbaum and Williford are out - Williford, of course, is directing one of the first batches of episodes for Beyond The Gates.

Assuming they will need to fill this void - as great as they are, Renfroe and McDonald can’t direct everything, lol

Are people really holding a grudge over a couple of lines from 20+ years ago?  LOL

Eilbaum sometimes goes weeks without directing.  It's not unusual.   We know Williford is directing BTG but don't know if it's contract or not.  I could be that he's just helping them out for a bit and then he'll be back at Y&R

I wonder what happened.  She was Griffitih's #2 and has been with Y&R since 2008, surviving multiple regime changes.
