Yep. Happened to me. Thank goodness, I have Hulu via Spotify.
The episode was done so well. The Michael/Chase fight - both verbal and physical was excellent.
I loved that they held the Drew/Willow stuff until later in the episode. It made it far more dramatic.
MW looked amazing. As soon as Trina waxed Kai's virtues, I said to myself - 'bye, Kai'
Oh, and, Dr. Gannon thank you for putting Stella in her place.

--No wife swapping for me either.
-- I actually find it disgusting that Jack even goes to Nikki with his stories about Billy. Since when can Nikki be trusted? She eventually spills it all to Victor.
-- Are we really supposed to care if Nikki runs Chancellor?
-- Phyllis has a lot of nerve saying Billy fails at everything. Has she looked in the mirror? How many jobs has Phyllis had? How many times has she been fired? What are her successes except for being "the world's greatest hacker"?
-- Why should we care if Billy gets Chancellor back? What difference will it make on this show where companies do everything and nothing?

Guiding Light Discussion Thread

It's a peculiar inconsistency. Billy and HB are mentioned a little under Marland, but when Long brought them to town she ignored the fact they'd been in town (and off camera) for business meetings. Vanessa clearly knew of Billy, as he was Trish and Josh's brother and they occasionally discussed him, but I've never seen anything from prior to '83 that suggests they met face to face.
I'm not sure if Vanessa had met Andy prior to her arrival in Springfield. She knew about the circumstances of Trish's marriage and abuse. I always wonder if anyone other than Sara knew Vanessa slept with him.

I'll be honest and say I find Rory's Michael a bit too cold at times. It works, but I wonder how he'd do with an actual romance. Michael as a character isn't really burdened with an endgame coupling so it would be interesting to see him try to work with a non day player actress.

I feel like Jen's pill addiction was fine to bring up, but no mention of Jack being a rapist? Or Jennifer being married to Chad's brother that just tried to kill his whole family lol? To be fair, I am not sure if Chad knows about Jack's rapist past. There was a lot more dirt to bring up with Jack/Jen with all their history.
Jeremy needs to stop having to act with children and people in his family. It would be nice if the show tried a little harder to integrate him with some characters in his age range.

Yes, those scenes about Monica's death were strong, even though he'd never even worked with Leslie.
I saw earlier today that it was about a year ago that the explosion/burning happened. I had no idea how much would change with Michael. It seems like much longer.

I think another fun bit of intrigue could be a non-romantic triangle between AM/Roger/Blake. She would start out ecstatic to be working with them and being integral to keeping things from imploding, but if AM starts to become the son Roger never had (since Hart never had any interest in business and was pretty consistent about it unlike Nick/Phillip) I could see Blake start scheming to keep her positioning with them both. Also if Bloss are together you have the spectre of AM always there plus I could see Roger trying to bring AM/Blake together. As I joked before this ends with Ross/AM fathered twins.
We now have our stage set for the younger generation with the AM progeny being Roger’s favored grandson and Ross’s being the also ran in a flip of Phillip/AM’s roles in the Spaulding hierarchy. In 2005 when everyone is SORASed Lizzie is in a creepy but not true incest relationship with AM’s kid (but of course it initially starts because she’s working with Alan to lure AM’s son over to the Spauldings.)
