Is anyone else watching this masterpiece?! Personally, I think this is one of the best scripted dramas on air at the moment.

Yes and this season seems to be suffering from sophomore jinx.  I don't care about/severely dislike/hate every character but Lil Murder this season.  J Alphonse Nicholson is playing tf out of this role.

My cousin has been wanting me to get around to it because she feels that I will love it. But I keep forgetting to watch.

 

Thankfully since Twitter blew up over the 'masculine black men' sex scene, I was reminded. 

 

I was VERY happy to see that Patrick Ian Polk is working on the show. I was just wondering about him last week since it's been sooooooooooooooooo long since NOAH'S ARC.

@Taoboi, watch it! I resisted it for the longest and finally got around to watching it about 2 months ago and didn't regret it. IMO, this is the most entertaining show on air.

I swear, if Lil Murda don't catch a break!   

What will it take for Uncle Clifford to get Ernestine to the ER?  Her temperature is 102 and she thinks Lil Murda is her dead father.  WTF?!

Keyshawn has never been the sharpest knife, but must she be written so stupid?  That scene of her "escaping" should have been important but she looked like a colossal dumb ass instead.  Let's recap:

1.) Hurry and get the kids and things I've hidden for this escape

2.) Get to the car

3. The car won't start so let me call someone to get me

4.) I'll go back in and shoot him when he gets home instead

5.) Nah, I'mma hide the gun in the couch and go back to square one

Who's betting cash money one of those kids gets that gun? 

Honestly, I skipped all of Keyshawn's backstory.  The actress is not doing the best job pulling me in.  DV is horrible but this story is being told for entertainment value and you have to be able to sell the story.  Shannon cannot do that.  J Alphonse is showing me the struggle of a gay rapper and doing it effortlessly.
