I'd like to say I would prefer CC over AH, but there's no way post-2005 Y&R wouldn't have also wasted her.

Agreed. Even GT would have been wasted, although she would have been more credible and capable. They were committed to their new vision of Victoria as basic.

AH has always been a miscast for the last 17 years and running, but then again the writing has also for the last 17 years has been very poor as well. Under Latham it was decided that Victoria should be some romantic heroine and the character has floundered ever since. AH is better written as an icier, bitchier character and does well when written as such but Victoria has been written as such a weakling.

But Idk, I guess after enduring AH for 17 years I’ve had to learn to tolerate her lol. But when AH Victoria and Nina had their chat about Ryan and Cole in the 12000th episode and AH looked devastated/haunted at the mere mention of Ryan’s name, I had to wonder what could have been. I am actually surprised no one has ever thought to bring Cole back as a love interest for Victoria, even during the MAB era.

I like Amelia, was a fan since Loving but even after so many years she's not Victoria to me.

And I don't consider Victoria a bada$$ because she imperiled the company in the first place. Her recent machinations don't change that but I'm sure it won't matter to Victoria. The scenes really fell short.

If Ashland is sticking around, I want him to take her down. Her take down of him was about her ego. She was still a gullible fool for years.

She didn't care how he assumed the identity of his best friend, that he had the wherewithall to do it at the time nor that he fleeced a woman. Victoria has said she isn't taken seriously and they try to coddle her but she didn't give a fig about what he did to his mentor, a woman who encountered a lot more sexism than Victoria can fathom.
