Kelly Ripa (“Live with Kelly and Ryan,” “All My Children”) will host ABC’s “Generation Gap,” a new comedy centric quiz/game show that pairs teams of grandparents and grandkids, challenging them to answer questions about pop culture from each other’s generations.

In addition to hosting, Ripa will also executive produce the new series alongside her husband, Mark Consuelos (“All My Children”), Mark Burnett, Jimmy Kimmel, Barry Poznick, Albert Bianchini, Alycia Rossiter and Jonathan Kimmel.

The series is set to premiere Thursday, July 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Interesting idea for a game show. I guess this is one of the shows replacing the cancelled Match Game and Card Sharks. Too bad she’s hosting it.

That would be so funny! I forgot that Kelly Ripa had a syndicated talk show. Then, I see Ryan after her name. I'm like: "Ryan? Who's Ryan?"

Now I see why I forgot.
