Bill Hayes, Doug Williams, Days of our Lives, DAYS, DOOL, #DAYS, #DOOL

In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, “Days of our Lives” star Bill Hayes (Doug Williams) sang a rendition of “A Little Bit of Heaven” for fans on the show’s official YouTube channel.

“Happy St Patrick’s Day! Enjoy this little tune performed by #Days own Bill Hayes for some Irish Luck!” read a description of the video before Hayes introduces himself, saying, “I am about to sing a song for you in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day.” The folk song was first introduced in 1914 with music by Ernest Ball and lyrics by Keirn Brennan.

No stranger to music, Hayes is well known for his tune of “The Ballad of Davy Crockett” which spent five weeks at the top of the music charts in 1955.

Watch Hayes sing “A Little Bit of Heaven” below, and then listen to his singing “A Ballad of Davy Crockett.”
