Amanda Kloots will be off of “The Talk” for the next couple of days as she is currently quarantined at home after announcing she recently tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19. In a post on Instagram, Kloots revealed that she was vaccinated and boosted at the time of her testing positive, saying, “I am feeling completely normal now and feel very grateful for that.”2`

Revealing she recently came back from a trip to Mexico where she had tested negative both before and after her trip, the fact that she is now positive was a surprise to her. “This is the first time I’ve tested positive since the pandemic. I will hopefully be back to work soon but taking this time at home with Elvis to start potty training!!!! Wish me luck as I run after a naked toddler for the next three days.”

“We love and miss you but hope you are back next week!! Give Elvis lots of hugs from his Auntie Natalie,” commented co-host Natalie Morales in response to Kloot’s post.

“ It’s not the same without you. We can’t wait for your return after quarantine!” read another response, this time from the official Instagram account for “The Talk.”

Considering the trauma she went through at the beginning of the pandemic, it's a good sign that she is not carrying those feelings into this diagnosis, but this time, at least she has the protection of vaccination.
