Isn't it a little soon to be labelling this guy "Daytime's New Heartthrob"?

Can't act and has no chemistry with Ordway who also can't act.  He is hot and does remind me of the original Philip who also never learned how to act. I was always stumped that Bill Bell retained the original "actor" in such a pivotal role and never recast with a powerhouse performer.  There was so much more they could have done with Phillip. 

Morina/Griffith are a match made in total mediocrity.

You're right, he's good-looking and can't act for [!@#$%^&*].  Back in the day, that would've meant a quick exit.  But now...?  That just translates into "Multiple Emmy Winner."

Didn't know he was from Austin. Another Texan on a soap. I caught his return episode but haven't watched since. 

I see he auditioned for GH. I guess he wasn't hot enough for Frank Valentini. He should've worn a Mikey Jerome mask during his audition.
