In the recaps for this week it says that Jennifer asks Jack for a sign that its okay for her to move on with Frankie and she thinks she gets it when she catches the bridal bouquet.

This week - Hope Calls Bo but Chelsea answers and says he's with Billie, a Furious Hope Hangs up.

It's sad you're only watching for Jack and Jennifer. Aren't you invested in any of the other storylines, which frankly, are better than Jennifer wanting signs from Jack and giving Frankie mixed signals?

like I said,the entire show is crap imo and has been for months which is why I gave up and stopped watching.I Dont even watch Jenn/Frankie and dont know yet If I will return watching when and If Jack returns(probably watch the scenes online but wont watch the whole show unless most of the storylines will improve,and with JER still there I dont think it will happen). I really dont care about any of the stories at this point.If any of the storylines would be good I would watch,but I find the entire show really bad.I just hope they will do something about it before it will be too late.

Sounds good! DAYS has been consistently good for a long time now. Nothing outstanding, but nothing really overly sucking either. And I'll take it!

I'm finding Days pretty watchable on the whole right now, but this Carrie storyline-- it's kind of disgusting. What was with Lucas and Austin basically FLIPPING A COIN TO SEE WHO GETS TO IMPREGNATE HER? Weird.

I really dont like this story.

The show is good right now. MUCH better than it has been in at least three years. But the Jack/Jennifer fans deserve a lot better than what they're getting right now. It's almost like they're being fed table scraps by the head honchos. No wonder Missy's thinking of leaving when her contract is up.

I don't know sungrey. I love Jack & Jenn too, but I love the rest of the show so much that it doesn't really bother me.

As I have said before I have sometimes wondered if Corday and JER are not disgusted with the J/J fan base or it may have something to do with the rumor that JER doesn't like Matthew Ashford. I don't know. I do know that (and I do not mean this to be rude) but of all Days fan bases the J/J fan base can never be pleased. I have watched these boards for along time and they seem to fuss about everything that is given to J/J. When they were writing for them together they complained that the story was not interesting. When they are apart they want them together. I mean I guess they are running out of ideas on what to do with them.

I mean even right now there are not many of the couples in a happy state right now but do you see the other fan bases filling the boards because their couple are not together. People are complaining about the show which is nothing unusual with Days, but once again the J/J fan base is the one who is yelling the most.

And if Melissa is leaving when her contract is up, they may just be moving the story very slowly to play it out in proper amount of time - so that they do not leave them lingering around for months with nothing to do at all.

As much as I love Matthew & Melissa & Jack & Jennifer, I am loving the show to much to let that ruin it for me.

I think you are probably right about that. But of course it is an Internet rumor that he has a problem with Matthew Ashford. I have seen it posted here and other boards too.

I am thinking from looking at previews there is going to some health issue with having Austin's child. It will probably be fabricated by Sami - just my guess.

I agree with both Steve and KR. J&J were my favorite couple but I don't know I just don't find them interesting anymore. I think JER just doesn't like writing for them. I don't know maybe there is something more to it but J&J are hard to write for, especially since Missy and Matt have come back. I don't know why but every writer that Days has had while they have been there has tried to put their own stamp on them. Langan aand B&C made Jen a confused, sometimes bitchy und very undecisive women. Dhe still had a her spunk though. Higley tried to bring Jen back to the curious, selfless herione she was in the early 90's and JER has kinda made her the bland housewife. Langan and B&C made Jack into a crazy goof and Higley changed him back to his roots of an investigator and a man always trying to prove his worth to Jen. JER has actually brought Jack back to what he used to be-feeling unworthy and always doing the wrong thing while trying to do the right thing and making things worse. JER gave Matt and Missy awesome material in the Fall even if it was another Jack is dying story so maybe he does like them or maybe everything is in limbo because they have so many characters or they are waiting for word on Missy and Matt. I mean remember Lexie, Abe, Tek was backburnered for almost all of last year and now they are on every day so sometimes characters and stories go into ruts for awhile.

I don't think JER would have built this triangle with Frankie if they weren't sure if the actors would be in place but who knows. All I know is Days fans should just watch Days because its Days not because of certain people or couples. That bugs the hell out of me because I always thought a fan was someone who watched a show because of the show. Its ok to have favorites but to say if so and so is not on or if they leave you will quit is kinda stupid IMO. I mean not sounding harsh but if people like that seriously tune into Days and fast forward everything but what they like or only watch on days when theyr faves are on how can they know if a show is good or not? I don't know some Days fans perplex me. J&J fans though are never happy and I know that because I was and still kinda am one of them. Only difference is the show is first for me so if J&J ever left or any other of my faves I would still watch because I am a fan of the show, not just certain characters.

I will not let this ruin the show for me because it is so good right now.

Your right Steve. Sami blackmails Lexie into lying to Carrie that because of some genetic marker any baby they have may have problems or something.

KevC, I did not like the Jack being dead a 3rd time either. I think it is a very terrible story. The only thing I liked about it this time is the more human drama it caused. I loved the awesome scenes with Jack wanting to make sure Jennifer and the kids were taken care of. I also liked him wanting to make sure Frankie would be there for them. It was a very touching story in that sense. I also loved seeing him wrestle with the suicide.

I would have loved it better if JER would have just killed Jack off though. It would have been more poignant and real human drama. I don't know Jack may be dead - esp. since we have not seen him anymore. But I think it would have been better if they found the body and then watching Jen move on and the fans know that Jack was not coming back.

I would just love to see him do a death story and committ to it. But JER is not the only writer that can't do that anymore in soaps. Even Brad Bell couldn't stick with it with the Felicia Forrester story. Fans loved her so lets not kill her off like we planned. They had to create a twist.

That is one of the reasons I can't invest myself in death stories anymore, because they never seem to die anymore.

I will be glad when we do find out if Jack is going to stay gone or what. At least give us some closure to it. But even my disgust with the 3rd death, doesn't interfere with my love for the show right now.
