Members DemetriKane Posted January 18, 2022 Members Share Posted January 18, 2022 (edited) They could find a nice balance for the pacing; but the fast pace is one of the things I liked about the show. I honestly care for a lot of the characters including Remy ma whose only been in 2 episodes. Idk if I agree about them burning through plots; most of the plots they started with are still lingering around i.e. Jill struggles with her sexuality and the church. I do think the pacing needs to slow down. Modern primetime soaps move too quick, but I do understand the need to hook people by making a throw-everything-in-there pilot episode. This was one of my favorite episodes, they slowed things down and the writing felt more focused and intimate.
