Looks like Chris Dunn has rejoined the Days writing team! And he makes clear that he was fired from Y&R in an exchange with Lynn Martin (YR script writer).

Does anyone know if there has been any recent change in the writing/directing team at B&B lately? It just seems to me the writing and plot structure this past month or so has been somewhat less abysmal.

Looks like Sally McDonald may be gone from Y&R; she hasn't directed since 11/19.  That would be sad but I can imagine her quitting after producing Griffith's drivel for three years.  Chris Dunn also fired. Morina/Griffith what a winning team. NOT

If that is true, what a travesty (unless there is something else, of a personal nature, going on). McDonald was being touted by some fans as a prospective Executive Producer. But whether it was her own choice or not, she didn’t ever get the job.

IF she is indeed gone, isn’t dealing with something, and doesn’t wish to retire, I can see her turning up at DAYS or B&B.

Didn’t Sally McDonald start working in television in the early/mid 80s? Therefore it seems not that far off to assume that she has retired. Unfortunately.

As head writers, the Cullitons' track record has been very hit-or-mess, but as script writers, they've truly been among the best.
