The series is set in between the events of the films Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Luke Skywalker is a child living on Tatooine with his aunt and uncle; and Obi-Wan has been watching over him.   The movie starts out with Obi-Wan feeling broken but that changes.

Six-episode limited Series debuting March 25, 2022 on Disney Plus.

An auspicious date.  March 25, 1977 was release date of the very first Star Wars movie (A New Hope).  May 25, 1983 was release date of "Return of the Jedi".
