Anyone looking for a new series to check out while at home, check out On My Block on Netflix, about four high school friends living in South Central Los Angeles.  There are 28 half hour episodes of the series available for streaming.   The show is engaging and really knows how to do a season cliffhanger.

Hope everyone is safe and doing well.

I just finished this series, and let me just say I love it. It has a quirky sensibility, but also knows how to bring the drama. A commentary on the absurdity of children having to grow up in that environment.

Love Jasmine the most. She's the one that brought me.

With the way it ended, I'm happy there's going to be a final season.

I love the series as well. The twist of the kids drifting apart. Made me sad. Curious to see how they end the series.

Either they will give everyone a happy ending, or I could see them having something tragic happen like Spooky dies trying to save Cesar from the Santos gang.    The creator of the show has a long term Netflix deal, I could also see them doing a spinoff series focusing on characters in college or a Jasmine/Ruby spinoff.
