GLAD YOU ASKED!! Okay, it's got elements from just about every soap.

The Atkinsons-

Bruce Atkinson has just been left by his wife (who is never shown). He has one teenage daughter and one daughter that is a teacher at Mountain View High school. He meets one of his neighbors, Trish Walker and hopefully has lots of chemistry with her. Trish experiences "visions" of random things around the city of Mountain View (where the soap takes place). Meanwhile Victor--who is the big bad of the series--develops a bit of a liking towards Trish.

Victor Fox, Alison Harrison, and Mathew Robinson-

Victor, who as I said before is the big villain of the series, has recruited Alison Harrison as his henchwoman. Although she doesn't like to do his dirty deeds, he pays her well and she has an illegitimate child to take care of. Victor's business rival is Mathew Robinson-- who is a nicer rich man. He does many things to try to bring Mathew and his company, Mathewcorp, down. Mathew also has a daughter named Erin who is involved in the "teen scene".

The Austins-

Kelly Austin is in an unhappy marraige to Jack Austin-- who is an alcoholic. He beats her and talks to her horribly, but she can't bring herself to leave. She is convinced that things will go back to the way they were before he started drinking. The two have a teenage daughter named Sarah, who wonders why Kelly puts up with Jack.

The Morris'-

Angela and Ian Morris are an African-American couple. Ian is a police officer. They have a teenage son named Chris--who they have no idea is a trouble-maker and a drug-pusher.

The Greers-

Pamela and Ted Greer are a happy couple. Unfortunately, their troubled teenage daughter, Megan, is always wreaking havoc. To add to these troubles, in the first episode, Pamela's younger sister--Livvie Carlson--comes to live with them!

The Teen Scene-

The teens of Mountain View play a HUGE part in the series. Someone from Mountain View High will be featured in nearly every episode. Sarah Austin, Carli Atkinson, and Erin Robinson are all best gal pals. Sarah has her eyes set on her friend, Justin Williams. Unfortunately, so does the new psychotic student, Lauren Becker! Erin has her eyes set on her friend, Stephen Krohner-- who is also Megan Greer's love interest. Megan decides to team up with Chase Dowden, who has developed a crush for Erin, to break the couple up. Meanwhile, Chris is constantly trying to get Megan to try marijuana.

....SO, that's the basic outline. Most of the core families live on the same neighborhood-- Hollandwhick Lane.
