Y&R had huge jumps in several categories.

 

Days had a big jump in viewers but HH continue to inch up very slowly. This was Vivian's big return on Friday. That day wasn't even the biggest of the week. Next week's ratings should be interesting.

Actually Y&R was up too from last year.

B&B is losing more viewers at a faster rate than the other soaps. They are way down from last years numbers.

I know we all cite total viewers here, and we get the daily breakdown in total viewers only, but do they matter really? Maybe it's just less depressing to talk about the total viewers.

Can you please post the ratings here?  Last week I could view them on my iPhone and now this week I cannot again.

Yes, nice boost for all soaps with the holiday and isn't there bad weather on the East Coast, that usually makes a difference.

 

Since we're still behind a week, looks like the momentum continues into the New Year at least for Y&R and B&B:

For the week ending Jan. 5, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (which just celebrated 29 consecutive years as daytime’s #1 drama) delivered 4.82 million viewers, its largest weekly audience in a year (since the week of Jan. 6, 2017). The daytime series, currently in its 44th season, began its winning streak the week of Dec. 26, 1988.

 

THE BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL delivered 3.94 million viewers, also its largest audience since the week ending Jan. 6, 2017.

Y&R gained a few but B&B gained another 200.000 viewers. I was hoping B&B wouldn't rise for the lousy Liam & Steffy mess.  Interesting to see if GH and Days increase and by how much.
