Members DRW50
Another video/article where the journalists seem to be gushy over Bradley Cooper and resentful that more people don't love him. I have never really gotten the hype about him to that degree (I guess it doesn't help that I first knew him from Alias, a show that had so many, many, many rumors, rumors much more interesting than anything that ever happened onscreen). Wasn't the rumor that Lauren Bacall didn't win because a lot of voters just didn't like her? Anyway, a few more anonymous ballots. https://www.indiewire.com/2019/02/anonymous-ballot-editing-voter-criticizes-academy-1202045610/ https://www.indiewire.com/2019/02/anonymous-oscar-ballot-publicist-roma-vice-black-panther-1202045378/ https://www.goldderby.com/article/2019/secret-oscar-voter-ballot-exposed-roma-bradley-cooper-mahershala-ali/ https://www.goldderby.com/article/2019/secret-oscar-voter-ballot-exposed-black-panther-yalitza-aparicio-christian-bale/ https://www.goldderby.com/article/2019/secret-oscar-voter-ballot-exposed-vice-glenn-close-regina-king/ https://www.goldderby.com/article/2019/secret-oscar-voter-ballot-exposed-roma-best-picture-rami-malek-mahershala-ali/ https://www.goldderby.com/article/2019/secret-oscar-voter-ballot-exposed-blackkklansman-christian-bale-glenn-close/ Edited February 23, 2019 by DRW50
Members Faulkner
My favorite Bradley Cooper performances have all been in David O’Russell movies, which I know are polarizing. I guess DOR is able to split the difference between Bradley’s Hangover stuff and his more actorly ambitions.
Members Faulkner
Interesting. But he got it wrong last year (The Shape of Water won). His video from last year: Please register in order to view this content TSOW was the No. 2 choice of his small sample.

Members xtr
It looks like Pink is a theme at this year's Oscars. I saw several ladies in pink gowns including Angela Bassett, and Helen Mirren, who I thought looked nice in their gowns. Helen Mirren in particular looked really nice. IMO, she often looks good. I also liked Kacey Musgraves pink gown. Edited February 25, 2019 by xtr
Members Faulkner
Angela looks great too. She’s on E! right now with Courtney B. Vance.
Members xtr
I'm watching the red carpet on ABC and this seems like a more relaxed, "down to earth" type of Oscars Red Carpet. Overall, People, including the nominees seem nice and relatively easy going. I wonder how this show will end up faring without a host. I hope that Blakkklansman wins something even if that's only Adam Driver winning for Best Supporting Actor. I also hope that Regina King wins Best Supporting Actress. (I think she will).
