Members KBT Posted March 5, 2006 Members Share Posted March 5, 2006 Probably only Nashvillian who loves the Blue Jays! I dont think Toronto can beat out the NY Yankees, just look at that lineup! However, I do think Toronto will be a heavy contender for the wild card race. One thing I dont liek about baseball and thats only 1 wild card, I wish the top 2 would make it instead. I am just glad Toronto actually went out and spent soem money and got some key guys in AJ Burnett, BJ Ryan, Lyle Overbay, and a few others I am just blanking on. Members Adam Posted March 8, 2006 Members Share Posted March 8, 2006 The Blue Jays are doing poorly in spring training, but history shows the top teams in the regular season usually suck in spring training. For the first time in many years I am actually looking forward to a Blue Jays season with excitement! I think they can so challenge for the wild car and maybe even the division... on paper they have the best pitching staffs in the AL if you ask me.
