    I think it is fair to say that Star Trek might be the most popular TV show of all time.    There might not have been any nerd culture fandom without Star Trek, perhaps no Star Wars, and it is tough to imagine a pop culture without Star Trek really.   It was a great show, and while a little dated and campy, remains entertaining on repeated viewing.    "The Naked Time" is my favorite episode.  I love all the drama and melodramatic writing and music.
