EDWIN KLEIN JOINS "DAYS" WRITING STAFF...

Edwin Klein has joined the writing staff of "Days of Our Lives" as a dialogue writer. His first episode aired on Monday, April 18. Klein was previously with "Days" as a writers' assistant and dialogue writer from April 2000-September 2002. Klein began his daytime career as a writers' assistant at "One Life to Live" from 1993-1997, and later worked at "Another World" from 1997-1999. He was most recently the script coordinator at "The Young and the Restless" from 2010-2015. Edwin W. Klein, 58, was born September 14, 1957.

Thanks Jason.  Edwin announced his new job start date right after Labor Day last year so we know this script was written seven months ago.  They rarely keep 7 dialog writers.  I wonder who's next to leave the staff?  I'm guessing Cherrill who is a senior citizen:)

Nope.  At 74 years old, Cherrill still doesn't want to retire.  Maybe he'll do it at 75.  LOL

Mark Higley, who rejoined "Days" as a staff writer in November, was removed from the credits today. Higley had written 8 episodes since his return. His last episode aired April 22. Higley is the husband of "Days" head writer Dena Higley.

Former GL writers Jill Lorie Hurst and Penelope Koechl wrote an episode for Law & Order: SVU.  It airs tonight. 

 

 

Penelope also wrote for ATWT. I'll see if I don't forget to watch it.

I still say the vet script writers on Days are going to be replaced.  With Topits added....could Cherrill and the Cullitons be next to go?

Cherrill's scripts are awful. The guy needs to retire.

Melissa Salmons wrote on Twitter that she has left Days, of her own accord, and estimated that her last script will air on Halloween.
