I don't understand why they've written her this way either. Jennifer was always the cool, daring Horton. This person on screen now is nothing like the real version. This shrew would never have been friends with people like drug addict Matt Burns or homeless Sally Wales or fallen in love with Emilio, Jack or Peter. She would spit on them. She used to be my favourite super-couple heroine and now she's dead to me.

Exactly and it has nothing to do with Daniel. I used to love Jenn and when I came back to the show a couple of years ago, I couldn't believe it. Are they trying to make us hate her? She has zero likable qualities (she's not a hard worker, she's a terrible friend, a worse mother, etc.) I don't know why the writers have moved the character in this direction. Frankly, I'm completely neutral on Daniel, but I wouldn't want to see him (or any other man) suffer another day with this sanctimonious B!

Her heart getting ripped out was the end of Jennifer as a real character. I remember being so happy to see her for Alice's memorial and then hearing she was coming back but man ... sigh.

I truly believe Tomlin or Corday wants Jennifer and Daniel as the new Tom and Alice. They will NEVER EVER EVER be. Jennifer had potential to be but my God, not this version. I don't even want this shrew in Alice Horton's house.
