DAYS: Christopher Sean's first airdate as Paul set for next week...

CHRISTOPHER SEAN'S DEBUT AS PAUL SET FOR NEXT WEEK...

Christopher Sean joins the cast of "Days of Our Lives" next week as Paul. Here's what the casting call for Paul (then called Micah) stated: "The show is seeking a 24-30 year old gorgeous Hispanic or Asian male. Paul is a baseball player with fantastic looks and killer charm making him irresistible. He is masculine and charming but authentic so as not to come off as a 'playa' or slick." Recently, a casting call for Paul's mother, Tori Norita, was posted: "A gorgeous Japanese woman between the ages of 40 and 50 to play Tori Norita. She is the proud mother of a 25-year old son and lives in Japan, but longs to be in the States with her son to support his career."

Sean appeared as Bing Lee on the web series "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries" from 2012-2013. More recently, Sean has been recurring as Gabriel Waincroft (the jailed brother-in-law of Daniel Dae Kim's Chin Ho Kelly) on "Hawaii Five-0." Sean was named Mr. Asia USA in 2007. Christopher Sean Friel, 29, was born on October 25, 1985 in Oak Harbor, Washington and grew up around the world as the son of a military father.

I actually started to wonder, given the timing, if this is someone Sonny meets while Will is briefly out of town.

None of the girls really seem like an option -- Abby has Ben and Chad, Jordan has Chad and Rafe… I guess he could be for Theresa, or an insta-romance with Melanie, which would be a horrible idea.

Someone elsewhere said maybe he is Lucas' son. He spent lots of time in Japan. He could be Melanie's BF or for Paige or Serena (Meliisa Archer)

Lucas worked in China, not Japan. Besides he's way too old to be any type of son of his, especially considering this guy is old enough to be Allie's father as well
