I looked it up - the episode where Megan is raped doesn't occur until the third season. The episode title is "Pathways", and aired October 16, 1985.

Here's the synopsis from tv.com:

Banker James Chelton is distraught because his recently widowed sister-in-law, Amelia, lives a life of extravagance. MacDonald "Mack" Erickson and his pal Tommy work as trash collectors. When Amelia carelessly runs down Erickson, the slightly injured man is carried to her suite and treated by the hotel physician. After Mack charms Amelia, she extends his stay. James researches Mack's background and discovers that he has a criminal record for theft. When a piece of Amelia's jewelry ends up missing, James accuses Mack, who leaves. Visiting Amelia, Mack's pal Tommy tells her how Mack's life was ruined years ago after being wrongfully jailed for a theft. Amelia finds Mack, and the two are reunited.

Megan is jealous because Dave spends all his time studying for a law degree. As Dave spends his third straight evening at the library, Megan returns alone to their apartment to face a rapist, who assaults her. Liz Maguire, a social worker, tries to help her recover, but Megan refuses to return to the apartment; Peter provides Dave and Megan with temporary quarters at the hotel. When the police summon Megan to identify the rapist, she finally snaps out of her depression.

Thanks for the summary. I would like to see the episode and wish they would release more seasons on DVD, but they probably won't. CBS has abandoned several series after 1 season releases like Love American Style, Matt Houston etc....

Sure. I know how frustrating it can be when companies drop a show after only one season on DVD. Maybe Shout! can give it a new life as it has for some many other shows, or maybe they can do an on-demand release. Or keep checking YouTube for new uploads.

It looks like all the studios would go to on demand. It would be so much easier than waiting and hoping if something gets released. Warner Brothers does on demand and I ordered Eight Is Enough (all 5 seasons are available) and the 1972 tv movie Gidget Gets Married.

Gidget Gets Married featured several daytime actors (Macdonald Carey, William Gray Espy, Judith McConnell, Elinor Donahue)

I read that Visual Entertainment, Inc.has picked up the rights to several series including Hotel and plan on releasing the rest of the series. There was speculation that it may happen by years end.

The entire series is being released in a complete set. Saw it at TVShowsOnDVD.com.

Yup, can't wait for it to be released. There is an art cover for it already.

I can't wait.

I wonder if they will get around releasing the rest of Brolin's previous series "Marcus Welby " ?
